Sara's Unfinished Robot Disaster by SaraJS

...So we all have our off-jams!

Here is my daft, unfinished robot game.

You pilot a highly modular little robot and try to defeat other robots in some sort of strange virtual battle-royale.

Your robot is made out of a head, torso and legs. These determine various aspects of its performance! The body piece determines how many weapons your robot can equip.

Use W and S to move forwards and backwards, use A and D to turn, the mouse will aim your torso.

Press left mouse, right mouse, Q, or E to fire the weapon equipped in that slot.

Hover over parts to inspect them, approach them and swap them for your current part with F, or press the appropriate weapon slot button.

This doesn't meet my usual quality bar at all, and is the biggest over-scope disaster I've managed (and I've managed a few, I think I'm getting worse!). The idea was to do a part scavenging top down armored core wannabe thing. Some aspects of what I was going for come across, but most do not. I didn't stick to the theme for this one as I foolishly got attached to ideas for other themes. Never make this mistake!

It's pretty fun to play, but hard to master, at least for me haha. I struggle with the turning mechanics. But I could win the game at the first time a played. The UI is incredibly beautiful. The whole concept is interesting and the core mechanics are so polished and have a good game feel.

As the (catchy) title claims, it's unfinished, but boy this has potential! I hope you take some time to finish it. It will be great! :D

I really love the concept. The movement is slightly weird to me but that's just cuz it's tank controls. Would love seeing a full version (an online experience would also be kinda cool :) ).
