Chrysopelea by fizzbark

A flying snaking wording searching game.
Find words in the grid and separate them with spaces.
Content Warning:
The dictionary I used for this contains, as the kids say: "hella slurs". I didn't intentionally add any into the puzzles, but I haven't done a fancy algorithm check so it's possible there are some lurking in there. Please let me know if you find anything offensive and I'll happily remove it.
Controls:
- WASD or arrows to move
- Space to skip the next tile
- U to undo
- R to reload level
- K to skip a level
Tricks and Tips
- Words must be at least two letters long
- You cannot move into the last square you were in
- You can use two spaces in a row to jump over two letters, however all puzzles can be completed without doing this

"The average person swallows 13 scrabble tiles a year"
This is true.
Really not much to critique. I would just echo what Stronf said about having the option to undo a turn. As this can be a bit frustrating if you mess up.
The music is simple but it works. Why did you decided to stop it after the main menu ?
Nevertheless the game is very cool, I love it!
The sound effects, especially the pitch variation with each step, added a nice touch to the overall experience. Finding words in the puzzle was satisfying and kept me engaged.
The interpretation of the theme is probably the most unique one I have encountered so far. All in all a fantastic entry, Good job!
I'm curious how the score is determined since at the end, I was told I got a score of 1 and that I should go to the literary equivalent of a gym
@limichou I added the music pretty late and it ended up clashing with the sound effects so i had to quickly cut it.
@raddishradish The score is calculated by the number of spaces you had remaining against the 'par' of each level. So a par adds zero to your score, if you do it with one space remaining you get -1 added to the score and so on. Skipping the level adds a +1 to the score. The best score I've been able to do is -8, but i wouldn't be surprised if someone figures out a way to beat that.
I would have liked a bit of music during the game, but not a real deal breaker as the game was engaging without it.
Great entry, and good luck!
As a non native speaker though, this game was quite hard for me. Still enjoyed it
