Got a 159. Fun idea, but I think that mathematically there are some nodes that are completely impossible to get.

I think all the assets come together really nicely, to sell the chill puzzle game feeling. It's quite fun trying to optimize your bag before you fill it up but it's also frustrating when you don't get the right colour gems you want, or when you're in a situation where you can't avoid a rock. Good job :>

Well done! The music loop could have been a bit longer or a smoother loop transition, but otherwise it was nice and cheerful.

Interesting game, it could be made for mobile easily. Sometimes it's sad to see some diamonds which are impossible to get, but hey, you are the old Pete, what ever you take is good.
It matches the theme for a relaxing puzzle game.

Pretty funky little game! Managed to get 720 points on my second run, prioritizing diamonds only. Things were taking too long so at some point I just accepted my fate when I picked up a rock, and ended up with two of them. I think this game could use another limiting factor, like a time or step limit. That would prevent someone to just aim for a perfect score by playing it forever until achieved.

Anyway, good job! I enjoyed it :D

Nice game, I thought it was about skill but it ends up being a puzzle-like game !

It's so frustrating to pass just over or under the rock you aim at x) but aint it what we like in those type of games.

I liked the x2 bonuses which compels you to make quickier decisions and brings time in the game.

Nice mood and music.

Good job !

Nice game. The graphic is coherent and cute. I like the concept that sometimes players are just doomed to be unable have a diamond at some certain place(like right in front of them), which make players to avoid some heuristic judgement and take deliberate route finding.

Wow I love this idea!! With the limited number of times you could move, I had to really think ahead about where I should move to get the best geode. Very creative, good work!!

Really enjoy the upbeat music loop, the colors, and simplicity of this one. It would be cool to have some grid lines for further strategies, especially if you build upon the gameplay in the future. Well done. :)

Things that I think could improve the game:

A special bomb pickup that only destroys your last pickup would be cool thing to maximize score.

A random or "?" item to allow the player to gamble on whether it's worth picking up.

Different sounds for each mined item.

@trevor-lentz the bomb idea is actually in the game, it’s just a rare spawn :)

I enjoyed the game! It was simple and easy to sit down and play! The music was a good loop, and trying to max my score was fun!

This was a fun little game. It's simplicity made it easy to pick up and understand, and it really had me planning out my movement. Only thing I'd suggest is having a little popup in the corner displaying the different gem values, because I kept forgetting what the top gems were. But overall, really good job!

The idea is not bad in principle, that you can’t move down and you need to calculate the path to the desired ore in advance, but there is one big problem: half of the cells will not be accessible to the player at all, isn’t it)? If you can't go down, then the result is that you can only move in a checkerboard pattern, which cuts off half the cells).

Neat little game. There should probably also be a turn limit so the player can't just wait 10 minutes to get the gem they've waiting for. Overall it was good though, nice work!

i got 525 haha, its not too hard to just gun for the blue diamonds if you wait enough + with some RNG and luck

Nice game. Liked the art style and the simple gameplay and controls. Love the noise when you pick up a coin! Well done.
