Original idea with the drawings and topic.
I dont get the connection to the Limited space topic though.
Bimbi just gained a huge fanboy!
Rated in graphics and music. Character design is super cute! and music is great!
I think the different sounds and visual styles lack a little cohesion, with some more polished and/or clear than the others, but arguably that's part of the appeal. The diamonds game could scale down to fewer players a little better - it took a while to play through solo with direction keys and ZXC, so I'd imagine with two real players it would be similar
I quit after four or five mini games, but enjoyed what I played - I guess there must be an end to the session at some point, with a wrap up of who won?
Would love to see this developed further!
Anyway, glad you enjoyed the game!
Maybe something like random matchmaking would have worked for a jam style situation to play with random people who are also trying out the game - but even then it is difficult
Having full multiplayer would've made things a lot more complex for us to develop, so we chose for the "easy" way of only having one screen and focus on more content instead.
It's simple, but ir works well. I'm impressed.
As for the art, yeah it's tricky prioritizing things and getting everything looked at when nothing is set in stone yet :D so the answer is (as always) we ran out of time to polish up some minigames properly and to make things more cohesive.
Impressed by the game a lot! Party game is very uncommon party in game jams. Really love the art style of mixing 2D cartoon characters and 3d scenes. Every animal is lovely and funny. Music also fits the game very well. Mini games are short but fun. Hope to see this on steam or some markets in the future!
played with a friend, now gonna try to get a bigger party, has so much fun :)
