I worked on this game with my 2 kids (7 and 10). They helped with the art and design. Kids are amazing! They come up with the best ideas.

Gameplay

The gameplay is simple. It’s like a PBS Kids game. So pretend you are 7 years old when you are playing.

It is possible to get stuck. Pro-tip: don't go crazy with the shovel. You'll have to restart the game.

The game has 4 ways to win. If you want a bigger challenge, find the other flavors of ice cream.

About the game

Most of the art was drawn in Procreate on an iPad and touched up in Photoshop. I used a custom game engine I’ve been tinkering with for the last few years. It’s C++ with emscripten for the web build.

I didn’t make the sound effects and music. Thank you, internet!

I love the Extra format! It’s the only way I can make a game with everything in my life. I put in about the same amount of effort as a Jam game but spread over 2 weeks.
