Space Corridor by Hora-Timer

[raw]
made by Hora-Timer for Ludum Dare 54 (JAM)

You find yourself in a tight space. How did you end up there? I don't know. If you don't walk fast, the wall or the sphere will corner you. Strange things happen in tight spaces?

Controls You move with W, A, S, D, the left button shoots, and the right button solves puzzles

I couldn't accomplish much due to lack of ideas Thanks! By invitation.

I just didn't quite understand this theme. Is it a limited planet? Or is it a physically limited space, something like a small room or tight corridor? It wasn't clear

This was the initial game, but it ended up becoming complex due to the NPCs' programming. The idea was that Frieza would attack the planets, and when you reached the designated planet, you had to stop him before the planet's space diminished.

The graphics part doesn't feel consistent overall, the game is not connected to the theme in any way.

Unfortunately I had this weird offset for cursor and aiming which made it hard to play.

I'm honestly not sure what to make of this :) I am going to be positive and praise you for the work, for sure. But you're clearly using assets that you don't have the rights to, which are the main part of your presentation. You probably should have opted out of graphics for that reason.

I'm not going to lie, I have no clue what I just played or what I was supposed to do. I put some shapes in other shapes, but they didn't seem to do anything no matter how I did it. I had a shotgun, but nothing to shoot.

@hangovergames ???

@ilunailuna It's just that at first I didn't understand the theme, it wasn't specifically clear. Anyway, I got it right, you're in a tight space where there's a giant sphere chasing you, making your space smaller and smaller. Thanks! for having played

@nondev Thanks for the feedback. And thank you! for having played

@javasaurus Are you referring to the canceled game? In the canceled project I used assets. But in the one you played, I did it via shaders. Thanks!

@nirlandec Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

@nicolasjl9 Thanks!

@profugo-barbatus You need to have at least 2 puzzles to open the door. You shoot with the shotgun at other doors that are only breakable Thanks!

Genrally good. Really like the menacing atmosphere.
Will feel better if I can get a crosshair, but that kind of old-school video game style is acceptable anyway. However, I am at first confused about what to do. And there are bugs like puzzle will be push into ground that i cannot get it back ,or the door just don't break though i can go through.

Doesn't feel like there's any point to shooting, also the animation for shooting breaks if the trigger is held down. There is also a demo text left in the menu, not sure if entering text there does anything. The Game Over voiceover at the end is really cool though.
