Train Jam by dat198

[raw]
made by dat198 for Ludum Dare 54 (JAM)

My first ever game that I actually completed. It's probably not very fun but hey at least I completed something.

The objective of this game is to move passengers with the same color as the station out of the train while letting everyone on the platform in

How to play:

Drag the passengers using your mouse (Sorry I know the controll is really annoying)

Attribute:

The train SFX is from freesfx.co.uk

Oh no. I'm sorry but I don't know how to fix it. After searching around I found that Godot 4 and MacOS have some issues with each other. Perhaps this is one of those issues. Hope that they fix it soon.

At first it was a little bit confusing, but when you understand it becomes really challenging. I liked it

Loved the concept really. It took me a little bit to understand you also need to UNLOAD passengers lol, but after that I started to get the hang of it. If this is your first game you finished, you did a really good job. Hopefully now you've gotten a taste for it and we'll see an amazing entry next Jam

Yeah, the controller and collision is annoying :d, but pretty fun, I like to drag everyone outside and do not let them take the train.

This is such a cool concept! For your very first game completed this is good! I can very easily see this branching off into a full game, with different rules for who needs to go on and off the train. The controls, as you said, are a bit finnicky, but it was a game jam and tweeking controls to be perfect take a long time. cool game!

I'm a simple man. I see train, I click like^^

On a serious note: it's a good little game, which fits the theme perfectly. Yes, the passenger movement is a bit wonky which makes it quite hard, but I'd see this as part of the challenge.

Well done on your first finished game, keep it up!

Like others said before, some movements of people are bugged and it's a bit frustrating. There is no music and it could have been nice to have one. But the game is representative of reality and is consistent. Nice job!

Congratulations on making a finished game -- that's something to be proud of!

An interesting effort. Some of the physics got a little annoying, ending up in situations where I couldn't move *anyone*, so some people got stuck on the train, but the concept was straightforward. Good work.
