Profits in Proportion by don.shinski
Profits in Proportion, a painting game where you earn cash for making small paintings.
The proprietor of a local gallery wants you to create some paintings. You have limited time and pixels to make some new paintings in exchange for cash!
You can compare your results to the original to see how you did.

Then take a look in the gallery! to see your art among the others, good luck!

Feel free to share screenshots in the comments

My only regret is that it seems the reference pixel art is not made by a human that carefully chose the colors, it makes the whole a little sloppy.
Some of my 120 second masterpieces:

- funny, unique concept
- good replayability by having a bunch of paintings, and it'd be fun to play with friends
bad:
- sound; lack of bgm but also feels a bit unsatisfying not having any painting sound as you swipe around
- graphics aren't individually terrible, but the art style isn't particularly consistent (even ignoring the original paintings and pixel paintings, because matching both of those simultaneously would be hard!)
The gallery prices are so much higher than my profit! I feel like somebody ripped me off. I think I generally got around 120$ in profit, which I'll assume is decent.
For some reason the music only plays in the menu for me, so the game is silent most of the time. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not.
I often wanted access to some colors that were not in my palette. For example in this one I have no blue or green:

And this one had no green or red:

I loved that you can see other people painting at the end. However, instead of a random batch, I would have like to be able to see other people take on the same painting than the one I just did, to compare my "art" with other's.
I liked the fact that the game can be a short or as long as you like, without any contraint. Of course this has an impact on the game structure sadly. Maybe you could have made a menu to chose which painting you wanted to try next?
I tried this game on my phone and it worked pretty well! The game space wasn't taking the full screen but after zooming in a bit it was perfect.
I could see this game working quite well compiled as an Android app!
Welcome to play our game and please leave a review and rating.❤
