Battle Royale does make a ton of sense for this theme, and you pulled it off perfectly. I can see this being a ton of fun as a couch co-op game :D As for feedback, the currency feels a bit out of place. If I only collect a few and kill all enemies, I end up last on the leader board, but I survived. That feels a bit weird. I would like some enemy variety in the shooting. It's pretty easy to dodge bullets in 1v1 or even a 1v3. And one small thing, I would love a toggle for the screen shake :D

Shooter battle royal really fits into the theme. Also I like the effects and small particles.

Looks great! I think this overall fits the theme very well and this game has some nice juice and fun arcade mechanics!

The graphical presentation is excellent here. I really like the limited palette and the use of particles. First time I played on the HTML version in Edge WASD wasn't working so I had to move around by shooting in the opposite direction. It should tell you something about the AI that I still won that one, haha.

Wow!! I'm super impressed you were able to churn this out in 72 hours. I played a round on each level and had a lot of fun blasting away at the bots. I think my highest end score was 30ish. I agree with the others about battle royale matching the theme. Great match for this jam's theme!

On-point with the theme here. The presentation is overall good. Each object feels visually distinct even if it the screen can get messy late game. And the audio fits perfectly with the graphics. Gameplay was solid.
Next steps to see would be gun variation, different types of AI and a dodge roll.

Great work!

This game is FANTASTIC! the art really pulls everything together with a neat little bow on top, the shrinking zone promotes fast paced gameplay and something I didn't even consider when making my own!

Fun take on the theme. The controls felt really responsive and the sound felt like it matched what was happening. I also really liked the graphics, especially the layout of the main menu. For a jam game it's always neat to see multiple stages. Overall I think this is a solid entry, nice work!

This is my favorite so far - you did an awesome job executing a really great little battle royal game. The win condition was a little mismatched where I could survive but also not come in first? Still - this was absolutely amazing.

Great game! Surprising amount of polish, wish there was more punch on the shooting just so it feels juicy. Overall, really well done :)

Highly polished in terms of presentation, but lacks a little bit of variety in gameplay.

It's so effective, it makes you want to loop games again and again. Congratulations :)

This was really really fun. I would totally buy this if you were to make a full version of the game. The shooting is extremely satisfying and the graphics are minimalistic yet effective. You also did a great job designing the maps! Great job!

Considering the state of all big BRs right now, this game is the best in the genre.

The graphics style is simple but it's only better, the sound is banger.

Maybe it would be more interesting to change a bit currency system 'cause now it dosen't have any uses, currency = score if I understood right. I see in this game bullets instead of currency and score could be equals the quantity of hits. And probably boost accuracy of bots a bit.

Great jam! Loved the style in both audio and visuals - cohesive too. The gameplay was quite frantic in a bullet-hell way but I found the ai quite easy to out-fox. (not necessarily a bad thing?) Would be cool to see how it felt with the ai doing a little bit of leading with their aiming.
Well done!

Fun battle royale game! I like how the shrinking play zone works well with the theme, and it's pretty fun to try and last the longest. I don't think I found out what the coins did, so maybe having a shop or something to spend coins at could be a good way to make each round more dynamic. I also liked the art, and the music wasn't bad, though it got a bit repetitive. Great job overall!

Amazing, first time I saw a battle royal in a game jam and it was super nice. The AI were not ridiculous at all. Good job for this entry!

Funny little battle royale game. I like the style and graphics, gameplay is pretty intresting I think, but when I win I thought quit is quit for menu but this is a quit from game, It's little confusing, but at all, this is a good entry buddy!

Really good idea executed really well! Only issue is that selecting exit on HTML5 will crash the game, but still well done!

Nice game! Didn't expect to see a battle royale at the jam. Nonetheless, it was fun to play and the gun feel is great.

Hey, I’m the host of the Ludum Dare score chasers tournament for this jam

Wanted to ask for score chasers if you were fine with me playing some gameplay of your game in the background in the waiting period / intermission. In the waiting period its going to cycle between gameplay of a bunch of different games in the background (with music from games in the jam playing as well)

Had to try it even though I only have a touch pad at the moment. Really solid game, everything seems polished. Awesome work!

An enjoyable game with stylish pixel graphics. It has a good concept, similar to battle royales, where space is limited. In my very first game, for some reason, the WASD movement didn't work, so I thought I could only move using the weapon's recoil. Fortunately, even with that, I managed to complete the first level.

Really enjoyed this one. It's put together very well: the pushback of the gun, collecting coins, the and AI all felt fun, even if the game overall might have been a bit too easy (better that than too tough for a game jam!) Liked the map variety. Nice game!
