I did not make it through yet, but I will try again.
It is very atmospheric. I like the music, the sounds and the graphics. Especially the shadows fit in very well. The "game over" game a bit sudden for me, though. I noticed that it got darker but maybe also an audio cue would be great. Also I would love to see more content when walking through the labyrinth.
All in all: Very great atmosphere and it motivates you to try again!

Yay, I finished it! Took me solid few tries! Got to the door randomly, as I was near them on my first few tries and didn't figure out I just had to go from the top ^^

I like the moody atmosphere and art is nice - when it starts raining, it's almost cozy even though I am in a nightmare scenario, haha.

Love the ending, cute cat :)

Really good atmosphere, I had some collisions bug that teleported me across the map, but you created a good mood with beautiful graphics and sounds.

I finally get what the mood rating is for! Great atmosphere and I love the audio and art. Movement is a bit slow I thought, however I think it kinda helped the game. Good game!

I died in the darkness :( Excellent mood and atmosphere, I even feel a little bit depressed after the gameplay. Good job!

Gorgeous! Liked the style of this game a lot. Didn't get to see the monster I read about but did manage to finish. Nice work team.

superb mood! specifically really liked the 3d shadows on the trees. The movement was a little slow and I wasn't really sure where to go though

I got to the end! Really cool game. The visuals are beautiful and idea is great. My compass glitched out once after my 1st run but other than that really smooth gameplay, good job!

Really immersive game! Managed to make it through. Impressed by the fantastic art and music! This game provides a mixed feeling of both horror game and survival game. Would be better if more oils or some kind of save points are set on the map.

The music is really immersive. I like it. It took me several times to finish the game. Thanks to the oil!

Nice and creepy game! I'm not sure, but I guess I used a bug to complete it - at the dead end with the chest with oil I've moved to the wall, started shaking and got through it. Or maybe there was a corridor, but really narrow.

Anyway, the game is great and really atmospheric!

Very good atmosphere. I love climate randomness, I really do. Even more so when it gets dark and it rains, very good, good thunderstorms. The sound is really good. I think he used the theme well, the space is really tight and the thorns cause permanent discomfort, it's well done. My only criticism is that the game over is very sudden, as already mentioned here. It's really not possible to understand exactly what is happening to death. I also found it a little too dark and the path a bit like a maze. To get around this, there could be more things to interact with. But within the jam time it's really quite an achievement. I really liked :black_circle:

Art, sound, mood, were all amazing! Congrats on such a polished entry for the jam.

My compass glitched out at some point and it made me backtrack.

Thanks everyone for the kind and constructive feedback, it is really appreciated!

@smiley405 there's a webGL build on this page! you can play it on linux on your browser

@diego-teran and @emilyy We did not state it enough (it's on our part) but the thunder storm makes the compass totally glitchy, that's probablyu why you had this issue! :)

Awesome! Both cute and scary at the same time, somehow
I really like the art and the mix of 2D with the 3D trees and shadows, it worked really well together. I also like that you never showed the monsters, which made it more scary to me. The ending was really sweet and put a smile on my face :)

I thought the music was super nice by the way, it set the mood perfectly.

Cool atmosphere and work with shadows (although if these are 3D shadows, then fine). We made approximately the same game, but about something else altogether). You can take a look.

nice game... it wasn't too hard for me... i had the compass until i found the umbrella and then i didn't let go of it. I went through the door very quickly anyway. I was hoping that a fierce wind would start blowing, or that I would have to throw away my umbrella in a storm

anyway, gorgeous graphics and a great ending

I'm quite taken with the game's graphics and atmosphere. To be honest, I didn't manage to make it to the end, as I found myself going back and forth in the same location, especially when I reached a plain with no fences to indicate possible paths. I really hope that you can incorporate more visual clues in the scene to guide players in the right direction. Overall, great job!
