Sadly, I didn’t have anyone to play this with. However, I still really enjoyed this game! Movement and animations were very good. Music was also a jam! Great game!

I really enjoyed how the lasers where synced up to the music, it added an extra level or rhythm game to this puzzle game. I found the mechanics fun and simple to understand. Great job!

Great little puzzle game. You did a lot with a small amount of assets - perfect for a jam. Sadly I too did not have anyone for a 2 player match, but single-player was quite enjoyable aswell.

Fun puzzle game! Unfortunately I was lacking the numpad to play multiplayer, but had fun nonetheless. Took my time jamming to the song!

Very nice puzzle game! Got my head scratching for sure. I would love a restart level function to quickly reset everything. Also it seemed to freeze on the last (I think it was last, with 5 mobs) level. Great job

Cool puzzle game! I liked the graphics on this and thought the controls were responsive. Overall I think this is a good entry for the jam.

Very fun! the game stopped working for me. I could really use a way to turn around without moving.

@rolferm could you tell me what happened when it stoped working?
ps: Not being able to rotate fits the theme, couse you need space to change the way you are facing.

@evilmurlock, It stopped after some time in the first level with the cat with the mirror.

Hey! I am sorry that I couldn't get how to pick up the first box from the first level. Or maybe it stopped working for me. But the music, the pixels, the game mechanic. Looked like a fun game. I am impressed that there are even 13* levels of it. Good puzzle with nice perspectives, my sincere congratulations for this very good job!!

Cool retro feel and the art-style is nicely done!

@lain94 Thank you! You dont pick up the boxes, you are placing down mirrors (and rotating them if already placed) to deflect the lasers from the emmiter into the other mashine.
PS: There are only 13 levels :)

I love this game so much. The lazer shots sync with the music, the enemies' movement as well! This is so good. The only complaint I have is the way you chose where to place a mirror, it's a bit counter intuitive as it only changes blocks if you move, but once figured out, this isn't a problem anymore, just a skill issue!

Fun game, it took a little getting used to, but I do like the constraint of only being able to place in front of the player. As some others have pointed out, at least on web, there seems to be potential softlock. When it happens, the music and lasers kept working but I could no longer rotate or move the player. I was able to fairly consistently trigger one by spamming q and e repeatedly on a mirror.

Neat concept! It was a bit tedious to get anything done, and I really wish it was possible to pick up mirrors that you've already placed, but the puzzles are very well designed and they're never to easy.
I got stuck on level 12, but up until that point it was a reasonable challenge level, though the enemies are a bit annoying at times!

I like that you can solve stuff with the rythm of the music by dodging the laser, interesting twist on laser puzzles, the art is cute too and its easy to pick up, nice job!

I didn't get very far, but I really liked the character sprites. Syncing the lazer to the music was very clever!

Loved the music, and loved the gameplay! Very simple to grasp, but still makes me think a little bit. I can see how the movement and the way you place mirrors play into the theme, but it can be a bit finicky. Loved it overall though! Super fun.

First thought: hey, this is like a laser maze!
Second thought: OMFG these lasers kill you!

Good idea, well executed.

Very neat puzzle game! Something felt a bit off with the movement, can't quite put my finger on it, but it didn't feel as good as it should have.

Love the mirror effect, and the fact that the beam kills mirrors that point the wrong way!

Nice puzzle game! I quite like these type of puzzles. Art is nice and animations are really good. Controls felt a bit clunky, and the choice of keys was also a bit strange. Like the fact that you could only place things in front of you. But I also really liked the concept that dying was acceptable as part of the strategy. Overall a decent game, but could do with some quality of life improvements.

Cool game, a minor improvement would be to be able to change the side you place the mirror without moving the character. Overall nice puzzle game

An interesting puzzle. Quite a lot of levels. The mode for two is just fine. It is difficult to control the character in his movement, that is, it is not always possible to indicate the direction of the mirror installation.

Very fun puzzle game, the difficulty of the control part outweighs the puzzle part. Art is really good tho UI is a bit simple which could be polished more.

Not sure if it's bug but sometimes my character just gets stuck and I can't control him anymore.

I love this game. BTW, I feel myself more like a rotation scientist instead of a laser scientist :sunglasses:

I managed to put the mirror in a way that it kills me whenever I spawn lol, But really fun game!! Simple mechanics!

Nice work. Everything responds really well, there are many levels, it's fun... I'm confused why such cool pixel art for the levels but the menus are simple unity default options? haha

Oh, almost forgot. Making it so it follows the rhythm is really cool.

The concept is fun, some monsters were a bit of a pain cause they won't follow you so you can't bring them towards the laser and will only randomly decide to go kill themselves. But it still is a very fun game and solide entry, and I like it ! GG !

Just played single player but love the idea of playing these levels in a 'race' format, I see how it would feel manic in versus haha. Charming art and sounds, too. Great job!

I like logic games, this game have a very well graphics, and very interesting mechanics with lazers, i like it, it looks like a lvls from Portal 2 with glass cubes and lazers, nice game.

It's an enjoyable puzzle game. The music gets repetitive after a bit, but it's fitting otherwise. Graphics are clear and do the job well. I only wished I could change the focus tile without moving.

I met only one bug. In some level (4t, maybe 5th) the game suddenly hanged. I could not move or anything. Resetting helped and I never saw that bug again.

Great jam job!

a nice little puzzle which would probably feel a bit spartan if the sound wasn't so nicely designed, love the rhythm that naturally forms while pushing along the gameplay and the pacing never feels fully off. good job!

Fun puzzle game. There do seem to be some placewhere you can't place a mirror in a particular position when standing at another despite being adjacent to it.

Music works well with the gameplay. But I felt like the level design was a bit too unforgiving. The mirrors would be destroyed if not oriented properly and sometimes you could only orient a mirror by facing where you would like to rotate it towards. I would recommend making the game a bit more forgiving by disabling the destruction of the mirror unless you want to destroy it by pressing the same button on that tile and also making the laser shot (along with the beat of the music) delayed by a little bit. That way the player won't feel frustrated if he solves a puzzle in his head but can't get the execution because of the way a mirror spawns and gets destroyed or the fact you just can't move out of the way of a laser.

interesting idea and nice game with great music...

I have a bit of a problem with the controls and I think that the difficulty of the game lies in how clumsy the controls are.

mainly, turning the mirrors will cause the mirror to break or kill me... it's hard to guess how it will turn.

but you can get used to it. I enjoyed the game

great entry

I enjoyed these puzzles. I really liked the music, although the bass did eventually wear out its welcome, I think exacerbated by the high-pitched laser sound which was also repeating a lot.

The smooth-move animation was a nice touch, and it was interesting that I couldn't rotate in place, which had ramifications for how I needed to do my setup. Then there was the timing issue of placing the mirrors and quickly spinning then in the breaks between laser shots. Created an interesting mix of realtime and grid-step puzzle feel.
