Nice graphics and really cool and snappy controls, the drone is a pleasure to pilot!

I went all the way to the left ... is there an ending ?

@ace17 You missed half of the game! I should have made it more obvious, but to the left of the level there is a platform similar to the starting one on which you need to land to unlock the next area.

I like the controls, feels unique! Next area was more interesting with the spinning things. There seems to be a bug if you die in the down wind, the drone keeps falling when you restart back where there is no wind. Stopped playing after that, did not want to restart the entire game.
I did not understand you had to land to unlock next area but read your comment first.
I love the death animation, absolutely spot on! Very nice mood as well.

Very limited space indeed! I think the drone controls are just right; after a few (dozen) early deaths, I got the hang of it and it felt really satisfying to navigate through the tight windows. The art is great too. Nice job!

Puh, did it in closely under 10min. First it was difficult, till I realized (when I was at the area with wind down) that landing straight down is always allowed.

Impressive art and physics, together with the controlls it really felt like a drone!

Great game, sadly the checkpoints are spaced out too big, so I died on the last obstacle and got back really far. Otherwise it's pretty interesting, I like how you introduce new mechanics and it's strangely satisfying seeing the drone break. Wish it had sound for the jet boosters though.

Really great movement mechanics, I really loved controlling the drone, it felt realistic and smooth! One thing that makes me really confused is the texture used for the checkpoints, as it is the same for some obstacles and many times I wasn't quite sure of exactly what to do (should avoid the tile or park the drone in it to open a new area? And in one case the checkpoint damaged me, and I got into a spawn-death loop). The use of the wind to create a different puzzle was awesome too, great job!

What I like:

* The graphics are neat, the weather particles make it much better
* The way drone bounces when it's damaged is funny (and perhaps realistic?)

What I didn't like:

* The first level is already quite tight
* The lack of some ambient sound (or a music) makes this game feel more empty (some arctic ambient would be nice, but I get that it's hard to create a track like this for a compo game)

I'm not a good platrofmer player, so I couldn't fly all the way to the left. I read some comments that there is something in there (a next level?), but I tried ~20 times to no avail. :'(

I had to look at the video because it is far to hard for me. I went to the first 3 wheels. The art is minimalist and wonderful (from someone how usually don't like pixel art). I secially loved the particles in the background and under the drone. Controls are very clean too. But god the first meters haha !!! I almost gave up at the first sequence of tiny doors. It would have been a shame because the next few parts after that were really satisfying. Maybe it's just because I'm very bad at this kind of games so feel free to ignore this feedback, but I would have removed those tiny doors and saved them for later in the game. Anyway, congrats, it's a good job !

Very polished entry. Controls and the game loop work well. Maybe checkpoints are a little too far apart.

I found a bug, I don't know how, but when I died I think pressing a left/right arrow made the drone start leaning. So, every restart at the checkpoint I died automatically, I spent a little bit seing how I died over and over .

God job overall

Very enjoyable controls and interesting mechanics (especially the gravity/wind section). The VFX are great, too. Nice compo entry!

This was my first attempt. It'd be fun to go back and see if I could do better!

@daniboygg I also encountered a bug like that before, don't know what causes it, but you can get out by holding up until a clean respawn. I should have probably added a short invulnerability when respawning or something like that.

@decadedecaf Thanks for your feedback and well done! But have you tried doing a flip?

The drone is controls nicely and the animation is great. Nice variety of challenges. The environments could be a bit more interesting.

Very nice, and engaging. I almost missed most of it, and ended up landing on the first platform by chance, it then unlocked the rest of the game :)
The nice thing is, after a few tries, you get better, and you try to move quickly, when possible.
Graphics and controls are nice. Too bad there isn't more sound to give some audio feedback when moving.
Other than that, nice little entry.

Like the controls and difficulty of the game.
I think some sound and music would have made the game a little bit more engaging.

Super cool and good stuff. With some chill tunes I would give this a 5 as far as mood goes. I actually threw on some of the chiller track from the soundtrack of an rpg maker game called Yume Nikki and it fit perfectly. Definitely recommend. The whole game kinda reminds me of playing really hard levels on mario maker. They make you mad but are such a reward when you finish them.

A spectacular game created in just 48 hours! The drone simulation is exceptionally well-done and, moreover, the handling is proficient and not frustrating. While the game presents a challenge, it does not induce frustration due to its excellent controls. The design of the map is striking, and it is far from easy. The only aspect it lacks, as previous commenters have pointed out, is a touch of music to fully enhance the mood. Nonetheless, I can only extend my congratulations for this tremendous work. Fantastic game!

really good game that for some reasons (maybe the snow and the wind, and the fact that i died too many times) reminded me of Celeste! i liked graphics, especially the snow particles. I had to stop at the level with wind because i was becoming crazy! controls were very nice to handle, and the unpredictability of the drone's movements when it crashes was fun to see. i wish the game was a bit easier. and i'm super happy you didn't implement something like a battery that runs out with time, because it would have been a nightmare haha

great entry, especially for a compo game!

I liked the controls and overall gameplay. It seemed pretty challenging at first until you realize there is no timer counting down or anything so you can take it as slow as you want. The moving obstacles added a lot to the challenge. I wasn't getting any music. If there isn't any, I think it would be a good addition.

@amarokczukay Thanks! The "snow" particles were supposed to be dust and it was actually inspired by Celeste!

@siberpunk01 Thank you for your feedback. There is a timer, only counting up. And I agree with you about the music. Wish I had time to add it in the 48 hours.

I like this a lot. At first I thought I wasn't as you have so much control over the drone, but they work really well with the level design. Graphics are great and convey a lot with so few pixels. Audio is simple but effective. My only gripe is that as it's a jam game more checkpoints would have been nice. Other than that it's a pleasantly surprising little entry. Good stuff :8ball:
