Tetranome by Random-storykeeper
Line blocks to lasers in this tetrominos game where you are tight on space and time.

Default Controls
Controls can changed from the menu.
- Move → WASD keys or Arrow keys
- Drop → X key
- Rotate Clockwise → Z key
- Rotate Counter-clockwise → C key
Gameplay
Move and place blocks on the board. Lasers on the edges of the screen will fire after every 3 turns, eliminating any blocks in their path. If time runs out while two blocks overlap, it's game over.
Some parts of the blocks have symbols over them: - ⭐ Stars - Grant more points when hit. - 💣 Bombs - Eliminate adjacent blocks outside the laser firing range.

i think i'd have appreciated the tetrominoes always being the same color per piece, like regular tetris, so as to be able to keep an association towards the "upcoming piece" in peripheral vision, but it doesn't detract from the gameplay or anything. again drawing inevitable comparisons to tetris, a "hold piece" function would also be neat to help skirt around situations where you can't make a legal move, although maybe it'd be more "endless" than you'd like if that were possible - same with having a free strike before you lose. anyway, this is a cool and polished-feeling take on tetrominoes! my high score in easy mode is 654, and i will return to it again soon 🫡
One feedback point: The shadow did obscure other placed pieces which made it difficult to see if I can drop safely or not.
Well done! and congratulations on the release
Spot on the theme and very fluid to play. Congratulations!
I’d like the "will be persisted" feedback a bit more clearer .. not sur how
great game
Took me a while to get used to rotating and dropping the blocks as well as timing, but once I did moving stuff around and placing 'em was really snappy.
Moved along pretty quick. It was kind of stressful. I liked it.
Music and sound effects were appropriately retro. Really chill slid into the background nicely.
