Edit: After getting some player feedback about lag, I've updated the game to make balls combine to drastically reduce the number of bodies in play.
I heard you like balls, so we put balls inside of a ball. The latest and greatest in sportsballs technology.
WASD+Mouse or Gamepad Controls
Mouse wheel or LT/RT for camera zoom
'R' or '◀' to restart
Note: I couldn't figure out how to get the HTML5 embed to work on this site, so go to itch.io for it. The Windows/Linux versions have shadows that the HTML5 version doesn't

Edit: It would be nice if the velocity you can gain from rolling could be used somehow.
Surprisingly challenging little game! I would have liked a few more features inside the sphere (maybe a few static obstacles?) or the sphere getting smaller over time. But it's already pretty fun as it is! 😄
Also audio would have been nice. At least some "bonk"-Sounds could increase the fun by a lot :-)
Hmm ... I haven't said anything about controls yet. I find that you did a very good job on them. It really feels like you are inside a marble. So ofc they are challanging but they also should be. But they are not too challenging. Because you still have suprisingly a lot of control.
