Rogue Rails: Fractured Cargo by Phillips Albright
Rogue Rails: Fractured Cargo is a stealth action-espionage game where you play as Sergeant Duncan Hackman infiltrating a train to steal the enemy's cargo. Thing is, Hackman only has so much space in his inventory to carry items he needs to complete the mission, and each time he is hurt by enemies he loses even more space! As you complete this gauntlet on rails, you will truly have limited space to keep the things you need to survive.
Controls are listed in the build on the "Config" page.
If you are running into a lower framerate, set the graphics settings to low on the "Config" page.

I got stuck at the second gate, finding no lockpick or key.
Performance wise it was okayish. I was dropping frames at assumed last cart since it was pretty packed. I don't know if Unreal provides the performance settings out of the gate. But I'm fairly certain my PC shouldn't have such a hard time considering how small the game is. I was playing with high settings.
Good job overall!
But still it was a good time! Congrats
*the picture of the agent in the beggining it's funny)
Combat was a bit slow, the enemies seemed to shoot and aim better and faster than me. On the other hand, sometimes they would just walk past me all the time without noticing. I got eventually stuck at the second door without finding a lockpick (nor having enough inventory space to pick it up as i had to lose all health to finally be able to punch the enemies.
Very nice retro stealth vibe!
The design of the fonts and the classic style briefing at the beginning gives a great impact to the atmosphere.
It's pretty hard, but I like it.
Good music. Good mood and sneaking gameplay vibes.
The fighting itself was a bit tricky, not quite registering when I could stab from the back or not. Got stuck on the door with the lock as well.
The models' polygon style was also nicely retro - neat job.
I like the moving train setting, well done!
I really enjoyed it!
Reached the end as well!
I had no idea what the ammo available to be found was going to be so I tried to do everything with the knife to start with, but it took me forever to understand you can only oneshot with the knife when you're sneaky!
Using parts of your inventory as your lifebar is really clever
I'd say the menuing and intro can be improved,
But beyond that, the gameplay experience is really great
I love the graphics and level also
Amazing job, looking forward to playing your next game :grinning: :sparkles:
