Nice mecanics.
Very well done
Impeccable relaxing puzzle game vibes. The water. The other islands off in the distance. The buildings. The building icons in the menu didn't match the feel of the rest of the game, but the buildings themselves were excellent. There were multiple versions of each type! One of my factories was a *windmill*.
So relaxing, i loved the concept of association, design are realy cool.
Well done, congrats!
I like this game. It kept me playing until i finished it. The piano is soothing, the pixel art is pretty and it is easy to play. Easy in the way to go along and keep placing tiles, but quite difficult to get it finished. Even though i think i understood some strategies with time, i think, in the end, luck was what made me collect the last few points which were missing. It's very satisfying to place tiles seeing that they make many points. And each Ding! notifying me about the next set of tiles was a point where brief relaxation occured, just before i tensed again to find the best place for the new set. Very well done! And i like that the points for each possible placement are transparently shown. I wonder though why there is the possibility to zoom or rotate? I didn't use it at all and i didn't needed it for gameplay. Still, nice to have it there, just in case. :) I would have like very much a kind of trophy in the end. I judge everyone who finished your game earned it. Like a golden statue in the middle of the island, or some glitter, or whatever, like the island rising from the water and flying into the sky or something similar crazy, so to really get a feeling of accomplishment.
Presentation-wise it feels great. All the buildings look really nice, and I appreciated each one having several variations. I've spent some time clicking on the buttons just to see them all. :) I also like the little animations, they really make the game feel more alive. And good choice on the music track, it helps to build the mood a lot!
As for the gameplay, it's pretty good! It's a nice take on the theme, it's easy to get into and it makes you want to play it just one more time to try and get a bit better score than the last time. It took me three tries until I won, but then at least a dozen before I got a score I was happy with. :D
