I tried planting the first flower, harvesting, but after 120 cycles i didn't get any money and didn't get any other flowers.
Could you help me out here ?
This was a really charming puzzle! At the beginning I was really confused because my plants kept dying, but soon I figured out how each plant works. Because of their unique abilities, each plant was still useful, even after I got newer ones that were more valuable!
If there is anything to improve, it's the UI. I would like to see what each plant does before I plant them, and the graphics are pretty basic.
But honestly, I don't think this game needs fancy graphics. It feels great to see the puzzle unfold!
Excellent job! ✨
Also @gorglomux try toggling the "More Info" button in the top right, so you can see the shop.
In the end the balance seems a little off, i tried getting into it but after 300 cycles i was still at the cross flower. Neat concept though!
However the slow progression paired with punitive and confusing mecanics (plants semi-randomly dying) make the game frustrating. I lost most of my progress when I though I undestood how the purple flower work but they all died.
It seems like the game has a lot of depth for a jam, though. Too bad I wasn't able to progress further.

I don't really understand the necromancer.. I have all the things it wants it seems but the yield is 0.1?
Anyways, it's pretty late now and I gotta go to bed haha. The game is really nice and simple but addicting! At first I was kinda throwing curses at the game, because I didn't understand it, but once I fifgured it out it was a lot of fun.
I think a small tutorial would help immensly
Hope you had fun in the jam and maybe check out my game if you like :)
- I got to the cross and it started to get complicated having to work out why my plants were dying
- I think the game starts a bit slow, it takes some time to get the money fro the first non-basic flower
I also think the balance of the economy is off, it takes too much time to turn profit which makes the game extremely repetitive for no real reason.
Simple tweaks can fix all these problems and the core idea is good so I'd say the most important lesson here is to playtest and tweak the game so it feels smoother.
Great job finishing and submitting a game, well done!
