My Limited Cell by RicardoBusta
Hello! This was my first ever game created in Godot. Had a lot of fun learning the new engine and doing an actual game with it, even during a busy weekend. Sorry for the very short experience this game is, had to cut 80% of the planned content for it in order to make it into the jam release
My Limited Cell
The Game
Try to escape the cell in this very short escape-room experience! :P
Controls:
- WASD - Movement
- Mouse - Look around
- Click/E - Interact with objects
- Space - Jump
- Ctrl - Crouch

Thanks everyone for the comments! I am sorry this game was so short. If you liked this game, you can also try other game I made a couple years ago that has a similar feeling to it:

Maybe you can find useful information inside
I was playing in paralel with a friend and I defenetly want to try out a FPS next game jam! You inspired me :D !
It's easier to patch the Godot export and upload to Ludum Dare, or just use itch.io, both of which do this already.
Definitely tag me if you put ratings back up!
Well done! Take a candy! :candy:
Also outline is not rendering correctly in some versions.
Ty everyone!
Gotta love the style !
@aweskybear @jkazuk @peremily
Do the stones have a purpose ?
You might want to check if there is a way to lock the mouse cursor in godot, because once you're at the border of your screen it prevents you to turn more !
@magalix me too! Let's see if I end up making something :eyes: The stones are just something that got cut out but I left them there for adding confusion to the puzzle
@strato @telkan @meo-benderson thanks! I'm still learning pixel art, but I have to say using the color palettes from Aseprite helped me a lot. I'm really bad at making my own palettes. :P
Hope I could have made it longer now that I see so many people enjoyed it
The mechanics are solids but it is lacking a bit of content.
Anyway the art style is super fine and coherent!
And good job for your first Godot game!
@bluedandelion hmm interesting. I'll have a look. Maybe I need to add mouse sensibility settings to the game or something like that. Still learning how to properly do stuff in Godot :cold_sweat:
Thanks for reporting it!
One minor nit: I used the download version, it would be nice if you modded it so that pressing escape frees your cursor - I had to Alt-F4 out of the game.
Gosto de "escapes". O seu está bem simples, mas está bem feito.
Eu, sinceramente, acho fazer um jogo sozinho muito foda! Espero um dia conseguir fazer um.
Parabéns pela coragem e pelo jogo.
