Since destruction eliminates two pipes and only one is added per turn, even if you need to rotate or move a pipe to get an adjacent pair, you can pretty much always break even over two turns. And with the RNG gifting you destructible pipes fairly often, it's hard to get stuck if you just do routine \"maintenance\" to keep the grid about half full.\n\nTwo minor tweaks that might help with this: make the pipe placement antagonistic (i.e. have it never place a pipe adjacent to an identically rotated one); and\/or make the destruction only eliminate one of the two selected pipes.![pipefitter.png](\/\/\/raw\/457\/b5\/z\/5f7aa.png)\n\nEven knowing this, it's still really satisfying to play, not trivial.
