Tele the Axolotl by Arthurficial
You're an axolotl called Tele, and there are ghosts. Some of those ghosts rock, so logically you have to shoot them
Have fun ^^
This is my first game jam btw, so I'm very excited

Thank you dearly for your feedback, you should be able to play now @larrymartinjr
I lasted around a minute and a half in my longest run. I think that's a good length for a jam game. You typically want the player to be able to finish it in 5 minutes or less. The ghost art is quite funny I like it.
Only a few minor things to critique. I would change is the balance on the teleporting. It feels like spamming that can be a little too OP. But the tombstone mechanic definitely helps with that. I was also a little confused why I died sometimes. Whether it was when the ghosts put the tombstones on the portal locations or if you teleport into a ghost.
But honestly those are minor things and for a first entry this is really solid. Well done you should be proud.
Even though the theme is "limited space", I think the starting arena is a bit too small, particularly around the openings between the rooms. Even when starting out, something about the movement felt very difficult to control to be precise. It also didn't really feel like there was a reason for there to be so many segmented rooms, since they would more easily get filled up with blocks anyway and I mostly just stuck to the room I started in. The ability to hold the mouse button to continuously fire would have been nice, especially once the game starts to pile up with enemies. Of course some audio would always be great for a post-jam version.
Overall, I think you've got something good going here - the concept works well with the theme and I enjoyed the general premise of the gameplay. Congrats on producing a game in your first game jam and welcome to Ludum Dare!
To avoid this, I suggest adding unavoidable enemies, which forces you to move. Also, ability to remove some rocks would be nice cause you would have strategies to survive longer.
I wonder if you could make it so that the player could remove barriers. Maybe they have to sink a lot of bullets into them before they're removed, so it's still semi-permanent.
Nice work!
Also congrats on your first game jam!!
