Tiny Rogue Rumble is a dungeon crawler on very cramped levels inspired by board games. Fight through 10 levels, using all of your abilities to their fullest.

On each floor of the dungeon, you just need to make it to the stairs to reach the next floor. In between each floor, you have time to recover and equip new yourself with newfound tools. Make good use of the loot you find and the skills you earned along the way to reach the final level.

Controls: * Mouse - click to select, scroll to move around the map * Space - pass turn * R - short rest

Things the game doesn't tell you: * Free actions let you move again before the monsters attack * Short resting refreshes many abilities. A short rest requires skipping your turn, which means you must click rest prior to moving or using any abilities. * Monsters will use a special attack when they have a ! above their head, and will behave differently. * CON affects how much your HP increases each level. * Aggressive buffs last till the end of the next turn. Defensive buffs last through the monsters turn. Burn/wound/poison will only clear when healed. Regenerate stops at full health. * Some spells channel mana, which can trigger effects of spells that have an affinity of the same elemental type. * Be careful when opening doors. Stepping on a trap or opening a door removes any remaining movement. * If you die, you go back to the equipment screen and continue from the start of that floor

----==== Updates ====----

  • 10/3 - quick patch to prevent soft lock and some edge cases
  • 10/4 - try to fix weird death issue? fix some UI scaling issues at various resolutions and enable resizing/full screen

Pretty fun game. I like all of the dungeons and dragons combat systems, and the visuals are really nice.
There was some cool ideas here, like managing the inventory, how many weapons you have, how many skills they use. I liked picking and choosing the stuff I needed. The game was also just hard enough.

I did run into a pretty serious glitch though. When I died, I didn't really die. I just clicked the stairs and the player moved to the next floor.

I enjoyed my time with this game though, and all it could really use is some music. Other than that, good work.

Thanks for playing @real-flamingicecubegames glad you enjoyed! I think that's fixed in the new zip file? I thought I fixed that already though, so maybe there's a corner case I've missed.

Good job on this game! The graphics are nice, though the UI is kinda off. I would also suggest adding a small tutorial, it could be a bit overwhelming for a beginner.

Very nice idea and beautiful game, of course the only little complain that I have is the fact that I opened the game without reading the description, so I had to go back and learn some things about how I am supposed to play it :smile: Good job my friend and good luck!!!

This was a fun dungeon crawler. I liked getting loot and exploring around. Things like traps and obstacles were a little difficult to tell what they were at first. I think an alternative way to move the view might be a good option (hold right click and move or even WASD or arrow keys). Also the defend sound volume was up really high when I was playing. Might just be my computer though.

This was a lot of fun and there were a lot of options to choose from. The different abilities and items makes each combination to feel unique. The game seems pretty balanced, which is really impressive given the scope and time frame. The art was amazing, and the sounds were good but a bit loud. Besides that, it was a really fun game!

This is a pretty solid game! Feels very feature complete, although the UI is honestly a bit unintuitive. Once I figured it all out though, it was a real fun experience. I like the style and vibes. I also greatly appreciate how you can move freely when combat is over.

I had fun!
