SpiritKid and his father live happily on the astral plane, where Dad often tells tales about the world of the living. One night, SpiritKid awakens to a strange noise and finds that his father is missing.

As he sets out on a quest to find him, he learns that his father has been summoned to the world of the living through a ritual.

Unfortunately the LD version won't load, and the itch version is bugged for me. It only shows the splash page image over the whole screen. I can barely see the actual game through that image

It has a really nice atmosphere and the art is cute, it reminded me of "cats are liquid". Keep up the good work!

Amazing mood set by the tracks and the simplistic, but clear artstyle. What surprised me the most is how good the controls felt. It reminded me of how well big platformer titles feel to control. Great entry, would've loved to see more!

Simple but effective game, feels like a prologue of something bigger. Controls felt pretty good, but I think the level design could be better.
Music is awesome, really set the mood!

WOW the graphics are incredible! The controls also feel great. The animations also felt very satisfying Sadly, I got stuck on a seemingly not finished level, at least that's what I assume. The story was funny too. Good job!

Love the music! It set a very cozy theme with the colors you chose. Some platforming sections could benefit from more checkpoints to teleport back to and prevent the long back tracking (like the jumping section when you first go outside).

I did noticed once or twice I would speed past dialogue points but when I go back to read them they no longer appeared, but overall nothing game breaking!

I have to say that walking isn't really all that interesting, maybe there could be a bit less walking. The music is very pleasant and does create a good mood. The story, although short, is interesting. I was expecting a more dramatic ending with a discovery or a twist of some sort. Overall, good submission.

This game was very nice. I loved the mechanics you implemented with the gliding and "sliding" XD. You can basically platform infinitely high because the mechanics are OP together, but I loved that. The mood that you set is the best thing here, but every category except the theme was stellar (lol).

Very short game! I like short games but there weren't enough time to use introduced mechanics. It is sad because the game has a good set of platforming mechanics. (As you've implemented glide and slide mechanics.) I also liked the story of the spirits, like an opposite side of summoning.

I loved the atmosphere and the music. I got some Ori vibes from it. Nice writing and interesting take on the theme. Good job!

I like the atmosphere, it's cute, and dressed up with this style of music. Like being on cloud nine, but short-lived.

Very cute art and responsive controls. Slide feels a bit stiff, but overall the movement feels good! And the mood given by the music and art is definitely charming.
