Story

Summoned by the king in a time of dire need, thou, the noble knight, art called to face a realm besieged by war, with the treasury nearing emptiness and but a few loyal soldiers at thy command. March forth, gather thy forces from the villages, seize the resources and loyalty of lands held by thy foes—the dull Azure Duchy, the vile Golden Barony, the feared Teal Resistance, and the overbearing Purple Throne. Let not the enemy outmaneuver thee in battle nor exhaust thy coffers. With fortitude and valor, strive for victory, for in this grave hour, no silver-tongued peace shall sway the determined hearts of thine adversaries.

Controls

Movement: Click with the left mouse button on the desired location to move your knight and accompanying troops.

Summon Troops: Automatically recruit peasants as troops over time from your own (red) villages.

Capture Villages: Click on enemy villages to begin capture; a loader bar will display the time remaining until the village is yours.

Combat: Engage enemy knights in combat by approaching them; combat outcomes are determined by a simple numerical advantage and result in gradual troop casualties. Be careful of not challenging opponents that outnumber you, for your army will be defeated by those. There is no shame in tactical retreat!

Economics

Gold Income: Villages under your control contribute to your treasury, funding troop salaries.

Expenses: Maintaining your army requires gold. If your coffers run empty, you'll face defeat.

Winning the Game

Military Victory: Achieve total domination by destroying and subjugating all opposing forces.

Peaceful Victory: Peace can be brokered if no aggressive actions (like combat or village capture) occur for a continuous minute near enemy units. Be vigilant to avoid unintentional skirmishes or village captures when intending merely to pass by.

Strategies and Tips

  • Monitor your gold reserves closely and manage village captures to ensure a steady income.
  • Choose your battles wisely; unnecessary combat can deplete your forces and jeopardize peace negotiations.
  • Experiment with both aggressive and passive strategies to fully experience the dual paths to victory offered by the game.
  • Pay attention to which players are at peace with you at the moment. Various factions present in the game will behave differently, some will never attack you first (unless by accident), some will easily snatch your villages under your nose in acts of unprovoked aggression.

Will you forge a kingdom through war, or will you unite the land under a banner of peace? The choice is yours!

Very fun game, Love it. Could get addicted easily, love the conquer mechanics. Great graphics, the background music is nice but could use some more audio feedback e.g. when you capture a new town.

simple and easy to understand, I was able to figure it out quickly, super. Little by little it gets addictive, hard to tear yourself away in the end. I liked the graphic inserts, very stylish.

Cute game, but pretty hard to finish. Also it's a lot to take into account when starting it.

I really like this one, could see myself sinking a lot of time into it if you eve decided to make a more expanded version! Was just quite satisfying seeing all the numbers going up haha. Really like the art, the knight is especially good but it's all really cohesive. Feels well balanced too, movement speed feels good and the capture time is long enough to worry about enemies but not too long where you get bored. Well done!

Loved how villages gets smaller and dissapear while you are recruting troops and cover the map with gravestones. I wasn't able to come up with a good strategy, just got the peacefull victory once, by accident :D AI was smart enough to poke me every time he could while I was trying to capture smth. Oh, and illustrations are great, with some "medieval fairytale" vibe. Cool entry, I had fun :)

Wow thats really unique game with a challenging gameloop, i had lots of fun! And the Enemys are really smart! I didnt manage to win, but I am sure if I played better I had a chance, seemed pretty good balanced to me. Only thing that bothered me a bit was that the Gameplay just felt a bit slow because capturing and collecting troups took a bit long for my taste. But its really addicting, there is a good chance I come back to this game and try it again!

The game is good! I liked the art and the idea of the game itself! Of course, the font seemed a little small to me, but in any case, the game is very good! Good job!

Cool concept! Quite hard. Capturing takes a long time, too, although it makes sense to give entities enough time to react. It felt a bit hectic jumping between trying to capture, recruit and defend. Reminds me of mount and blade btw :)

I had a lot of fun trying out different strategies, but conquering territories the wild way is really more fun.

The art images are really pretty and original, and the music really sets the mood. Maybe a bit soft for my method... Attack!

Good idea and good gameplay!

Kinda reminds me of an old mobile game called "Hills and Rivers Remain" by Square Enix. I found myself wishing that I could direct multiple groups instead of being stuck outnumbered by each other faction. I also never really figured out how to keep cash flow positive. Also the AI could be really frustrating with one of their units having 5 or 6 soldiers but then bumping in and out of a village I was capturing fully resetting the capture progress, which I couldn't do very well myself since I only had one group of soldiers myself.
