The art style is interesting, I miss the SFX for whenver you shoot an object, so there would be sound but I love how trees are drawn, its beautiful and perfect

This is such a strange but cool game! I love the aesthetic and the gameplay is fun and intuitive once you get used to the menus.

The art style is really nice I like it a lot. I would have never thought of this as a style, but maybe it's a concept to keep in mind for other games, thank you for the idea.

But coming to a part that bothered me, the movement. It didn't feel well due to the handling of inputs, as you could only press on direction at a time and the change also felt a bit clunky. Try to make it a bit smoother for the next time and I think it would add a lot to the games enjoyment.(Also had some performance issues after to many enemies were present at the same time, but that could be a problem on my part.)

Overall nice entry and great work on the art style

Fun game, I espiacilly liked the booster concept, as a temporary power increase for a setback in terms of progress, and the music.
One issue I kept running into is the character not moving in the direction I want it to (it feels like sometimes buttonpresses aren't properly being aplied). Something that might help with this is adding the ability to move diagonaly.
One other issue is that projectiles seem to despawn if there are to many on screen, which seems to happen quite quickly.

Stunning art stile! Simple and fun game. But sometimes you can be bodyblocked by enemies or intractable objects.

Looove the concept, I lost almost immediately (I'm bad, so my fault) but love the paper effects ! Very innovative !

The graphics are unique. I think I've never seen someone implement a 2D newspaper cutout style in an LD/game jam game before.

The graphics is really interesting and unique, I liked it! The controls felt a bit rough and the collision on the enemies was not very forgiving. Overall it is a good entry, good job!

Really cool art! The game had a good way of making the player risk losing their score by staying for another upgrade or leaving to the next level! I would've liked some more SFX feedback for player damage and enemy kills, and maybe have the game sped up a little bit more (less health, quicker enemy spawns, etc) to make the game feel more arcady. Great entry!

I really liked your game. It was fun and the visuals are very original. The music is catchy, it will stay stuck in my head for hours, i think xD The second level is maybe a bit too difficult (or most likely, I'm just bad).

One of the most visually distinctive games I've encountered in LD55 so far. Maybe I am somewhat partial but collages with a touch of vaporwave are delightful. The upgrading system is satisfying and gameplay is smooth. Nice job!
