DESUMMONING by InitialPosition
Have you ever wanted to summon a demon but you bought the spell scroll in cursive so you summon a lemon instead? And as if that wasn't bad enough, now it won't leave until you win some obscure card game against it? Well, I know your pain.
Features
- Over two playing cards
- A lemon
- REALLY intense gameplay
- A soundtrack I once again spent WAY too much time on
Controls
- Mouse: Do card stuff
- Enter: Do everything else
Instructions

Play cards from your hand at the bottom. Red cards deal damage, Blue cards give you protection. The damage in the left board will be dealt to Leemon the lemon, the damage in the right board will be dealt to you. Try to win.
Some more screenshots? You betcha!
He is trying his best.

Important Information!
I currently have some problems getting my Linux machine to create a Linux build. For now, I have tested running the game with WINE and have not encountered any issues. Stay tuned.

There was _a lot_ more content planned that unfortunately I just didn't get around to. I might port this game to Godot soon so I can properly work on some of the things I wanted to implement for a post jam update but we will see.
Super polished, and while there's not a whole lot of replay value or challenge to it, it doesn't fall into the pitfall that I constantly see turn-based jam games falling into of being *waaaay* too complicated to get into.
I really enjoyed it! High ratings all around from me!
Update: I just got the lemon demon joke seconds ago seen a meme, lmao
Find it cool that you just conjured a pack of cards in a compo. It would be nice if you could still have a strategy by counting cards etc. That way I only ever had to choose the highest cards.
But I think it's a great implementation and in such a short time. Which engine did you use to write it?
Lemon needs to learn how to bluff. I like chill music, and I understood how to play almost on the fly. Nice work!
Really cool and well put together, a strong entry. But had that potential to be a REAL banger with just a bit more meat on the card game piece. Nice work.
