Twilight Siege by ComicSans
The evil summoner must be stopped! Not you, the other summoner!. Gather resources, build your town, defend yourself, and encroach on the enemy's stronghold until you are victorious!
At dawn and dusk, add structures to your domain. Due to strict building codes, they must always be adjacent to your other buildings. During the day and night phases, bask in your handiwork. Alternately, lend your power to nearby buildings and double their efficiency!

Known Bugs
- The game doesn't yet track if your domain is split in two. Just pretend it does!
- At some resolutions, the GUI on the right gets messed up. Especially on displays that have a high pixel resolution. Sometimes changing the aspect ratio to 16:9 and refreshing will fix it.
Fixes
- Made audio quieter and certain sound effects less frequent.
- Fixed a crash bug when a projectile's target is destroyed before it gets there.

I started playing three times and was able to get completely comfortable with the game. It was a pleasant time. I liked the mechanics of the game and how you gradually become better. The most important thing is that the enemy does not allow you to relax at the beginning, forcing you to think about how best to act. There is a balance: don’t win right away. It was a nice victory!

I think villages get more powerful the larger your base because they heal all buildings equally, so 3 villages created a swarm of repairers to top everything off. The main puzzle seems to be knowing what order to build in, that a sawmill is worth most when placed closest to home, and roads can tank damage the cheapest.
Besides adding building descriptions in-game, being able to pan the camera while paused would be nice too, otherwise I cannot build sawmills in the bottom-left corner to be safer. That's a pretty minor concern though, because if I am placing a sawmill that far away I either messed up, or I have lived past the first 2 turns and victory is already certain. Having multiple level options could be nice too, this game jam entry feels like a boss fight when coming in as a new player and maybe staring the game without summoning buildings to just start taking damage without a way to attack as the hero. Maybe some starting roads to soak damage would be a way to make the start easier, and give the player time to realize they are in danger. But with how strong villages can heal, that might be too much of a boost.
The 3D art is adorable, it made me want to zoom in to see the units closer.
