A game where you're a demon working your job of hunting those who summon you! Always be prepared to be summoned at any moment, or your fired!

The game is split up into days. Each day you are summoned three times, never knowing exactly when is next. Try to collect as much blood as possible, and get back to your summoning circle before you are summoned! If you miss the time, then you're fired. Spend blood on upgrades to hunt better and better.

The purple particles appear when your time is halfway up and the sigil appears when your time is almost out!

=-+ Known Issues +-=

Sometimes kicks player out of upgrade menu randomly. Sometimes puts player in forest level with unlimited time. Fireball damage doesn't scale with damage upgrade. If player is to fast they can clip through map.

Really fun! A strong game loop to get you into things initially and simple fun attacks. Music and art are really nice too, I love the humans and the main character!

Yo, I am down for the colorful occult hijinks! I like the evil sounding 8 bit drum 'n bass track, I like the scared humans, but I love the main character best. Multi-thousand year old grump massacres countless humans for profit. :heart:

I LOVE the art so much, it seems very polished! Also very rare to see fine audio in gamejam games, which is a huge bonus for your game :) I couldn't get past stage 1 because I could never kill all the humans in time, but I really wanted to see what's next :smiley:

This was super fun. Very satisfying to get a couple upgrades and optimize your path through the level deciding where to shoot the fireball to maximize kills in the time limit. Great art and sound as well.

The game loop is solid: trying to strategize your movement and upgrades in the limited time is fun. The music and art also fit the implementation really well! Kudos!

Solid art style and love the retro soundtrack. I do wish there was more indicators for how much time is left before I need to get back to the portal, especially since returning to the portal does not guarantee a teleport back, but I do love the power grind for this and making sure I'm as efficient as possible!

Good art style ! The game loop is good but a bit frustrating. The invocation time is not simple to determine with the actual indicators. And the upgrades are a bit useless after the 4/5 day that's sad.

Oh, I forgot to mention... I raised my speed really high and then ran into a wall and got stuck which ended my run lol

Fascinating soundtrack! It was really cool to hear two different remixed versions of the soundtrack in the title screen and in the game levels. It also fits the art style very well, providing the entire game an immersive feel.

I wondered if I can upgrade the speed of my fireball though. It seemed that upgrading the fireball doestn't really have any effects? I wish there was more end-game upgrades. It is still an excellent game after all. Nice work!

It's actually a pretty polished game overall! There were times, though, when I would get the purple particles and then before the sigil ever appeared would end my run immediately. I think allowing the player to upgrade more often then once every three days would make it more engaging. But this is a good entry. Well done.

I'm always in awe whenever there is a solo entry (or aaalmost solo) that looks like this. It really is very impressive. My favorite part were the graphics and little animations. I had fun playing this, thank you! :D

Neat visuals, animations and audio. Speaking about gameplay, I didn't really got the mechanics. What should I do when tentacles begin reaching me? Should I back to pentagram or run to escape from them?

Very cute art, the animations are really nice! The sound effects and music are solid too. The hint of the summoning stuff appearing slowly was nice too so I had an idea of when to get back, but sometimes it was so fast I bearly had time to do anything. OVerall fun game, nice job ^^

The gameplay loop with the upgrade phases is very nice, and the art is pretty. The music is good too, maybe it would have been nice to add a sound or an effect on the music when you have to return to the summoning circle. I enjoyed the game, Well done!
