The theme fits and I like the unique summoning take.
Great Job!
Sorry about the bugged level it should now be fixed :)
The music really added to the game experience BLARG! Cute lil Bergs. Thanks for the submission. You did great.
I had an absolute blast playing this! Puzzles got challenging at times, but the silly BERG! kept me going until I solved every last one. Kudos for making such a simple, but fantastic game.
- Love the silly little guys.
- BERG!!!
- music and sfx were a lot of fun.
- summoning more dudes mid-air was a really neat mechanic.
The Not So Good:
- Didn't really have any major issues or bugs, but one thing I found mildly frustrating on the last level was that if I missed a jump and died it would reset _all_ of my progress.
Design Notes:
- I found a few places where I could bypass some obstacles by jumping carefully just _barely_ off the edge of the screen. Pretty sure this is not intended.
- Related to my not so good note: I would personally make it so that dying just respawns a berg at the same location you last spawned one. Especially with levels that have _multiple_ buttons to press, it feels a little frustrating to lose all progress because of a missed jump. Reserve a full reset of the level for only if the player presses reset.
TL;DR
Really fun, super creative, love the little guys and the art. Only a minor design gripe that only really bit me on the very last level.
BERG!!
(loved this game, so many cool puzzles with such understandable and approachable design)
It looks fantastic and is very polished with fun music and sounds. I think it's a really cool interpretation of the theme, too!
Great game! Well done!
Great entry.
I like the design that characters of different sizes having different abilities
- Edges of the screen should work as walls, since falling through them feels a bit weird.
- Maybe adding some control over who tall the summon is would be nice. To give more control to the player.
- In some levels the solution did not felt obvious, not sure if I solve them as intended. It is not a bad thing, but I felt a bit lost because of it not knowing if I'm missing some mechanic or not.
Anyway, good job with the game!
Multi~~player~~berger maybe? BERG.
Number of stars: BERG, BERG, BERG, BERG, BERG.
"BEAARHGH BEAARGHT BEEEERG"
very great puzzle design !! i Love the vides, the visuals and audio !! Congrats !

the best part was when berg said "It's BERG time!" and started berging all over the place, 10/10

I loved it!!
Simplicity and fun. It's what I admire most in a game.
Really a brilliant idea.
Congratulations!
I really liked the puzzles, I thought they were the right about of difficult, the whole experience felt very polished and very much what I look for in a game jam when it comes to gameplay! I can totally see this being made into a full game, there's lots of potential
excellent entry! good job!!
Another entry where I am like "You can't make a game out of that" in the beginning but after few levels life reminfs me I am not the best game designer in the world. Fantastic utilization of mechanic
All the best,
berg
Nice little game. Not too difficult, not too easy. I liked the fact you can infinitely spawn bergs but you can get stuck because of that. Multiple sizes of bergs were such a nice idea espacially with the jump height difference. Really enjoyed playing it! Also sound and music are very good, graphics are well made too with a unique style. Nice entry!
Really well done, I enjoyed that a lot!
I'd personally be more grateful if there is an "undo" button (given a deterministic random sequence), but never mind, I guess such punishment for failure in execution is what puzzle platformers are about (^ ^;
Also, at the time I'm writing this the "Ratings received" count is at 98.25, so am I technically the 100th person to play & rate it? I'm not sure but congratulations for that achievement! :100:
Love everything about it!
Besides being able to see the next berg to be created, maybe the game could benefit from a button that erases bergs in last-to-first order, in case of soft locks.
Simple graphics but in such a nice way. Looks so nice and consistent with the vibrant colours and complete adherence to rectangles. The bergs are so cute with their li'l faces and different variations, and of course the size actually matters to the puzzles too and you introduced that well early on.
Great music that fits well and of course the recurring "BERG" is iconic.
I agree with a comment I saw that WASD + E was awkward, at least when you needed to freeze a berg at a specific position in the air, but that was easily solved by just moving with arrows instead, so that's another victory for options :)
Finally the puzzles themselves were a lot of fun and you ramped them up well. Very nicely done.
The conecpt is nice and simple, and I love the level / puzzles! It was quite challenging. Probably needed some extra context or just make some core mechanics more obvious, and the game probably need a little bit of polish. But other than that, this is a very **great** game! I like it a lot!
