Highest marks so far! I really had fun with this. On one of the levels with two switches one switch didn't trigger for some reason, but that didn't knock any of my ratings down. The sound was great, the style is great, the puzzles are great and I'm a big fan of the concept. Very simple but fun is #1 with this game. Reminds me of a game I would enjoy on a handheld system. Fantastic work!

I faced an impossible level the one with the slim cube.
The theme fits and I like the unique summoning take.
Great Job!

I really like the concept of your game and it is so much fun to summon a new version of you to solve the different puzzles. I like the tempo-ey music and the sound effect every time you summon another version. The visuals and getting a new color every spawn is really well done. Nice entry and keep up the great work!

Very innovative and great use of the thematics in the gameplay itself. Awesome!

A simple concept of summoning bergs, has a vibe similar to games where when you die your previous dead character helps you out, the level design is peak however, showing off different mechanics! (I also broke the level with 2 buttons, as per expected from my curse to break games) overall well done!

Summoning with "E" feels kinda difficult to play. Needs a little bit of polish but my god did I have fun? This adorable game was so fun and well designed. The difficulty curve it's a little wonky, but great job!! I really liked this game!

Awesome game design! I love that you were able to turn a simple mechanic (summoning another player character) into something with so many facets for puzzle design. Art is minimal but cute and has character, it reminds me of some indie games from the mid 2010s. Sound is a little basic, but I appreciate that it is all done during the jam, so props for that!

Unluckily did the buttons in one level not work, but it was still a really fun experience! In the beginning I didn't know that Bergs spawn in different sizes, so I used the reduced hitbox after landing to be low enough for the crouch part :D. Really nice game!

The level with two buttons seems to be bugged, even if I placed myself on both the victory point was not activated. Otherwise, good game, you have managed to implement a good level design with the mechanics you had, 10/10 in that aspect, keep it up!

I love the concept. Style & sounds are very nice, and puzzles are cool. I just wish there was a background music, but that's about it. Great work!

Great game! This concept feels like it could lead to a lot of interesting puzzles! As mentioned in the previous comment, one of the levels has a switch that doesn't trigger, but the overall result is great (also at some point I just kept on mashing the "summon" button just because I loved the silly voice clip)

Very cool idea, great puzzle game. Id maybe have given 3 different summon buttons, 1 for each size of berg to give the player a bit more control. It reminds me of a flash game I played a very long time ago where you had a number of animals and you could make them jump into spikes and such to make way for the other animals (I cant find it or the name D:). Novel concept, good puzzles, it only needs more content and a little bit of polish for the user IMO!

It's one of the games were i got the most fun, and that's a hard task cuz i usually hate puzzle games. It's also pretty original, while most of used made devilish, magician or heavenly stuff, u made some original and quirky characters that reminded me to Pikuniku, it's super cute. Congrats buddy

Great game, the graphics are cute and the sound effects are hilarious! I liked the level design, my only complaint is that failing the level by going too far left or right feels a bit too punishing and unexpected (though falling down the pit makes sense). Congrats on your first Ludum Dare :)

You fully deserve your full points for innovation and music. You have made a really cool puzzle platformer. I feel that this mechanic has a lot of potential to be expanded upon. The controls could be a bit more forgiving. Great Entry!

The Good:
- Love the silly little guys.
- BERG!!!
- music and sfx were a lot of fun.
- summoning more dudes mid-air was a really neat mechanic.

The Not So Good:
- Didn't really have any major issues or bugs, but one thing I found mildly frustrating on the last level was that if I missed a jump and died it would reset _all_ of my progress.

Design Notes:
- I found a few places where I could bypass some obstacles by jumping carefully just _barely_ off the edge of the screen. Pretty sure this is not intended.
- Related to my not so good note: I would personally make it so that dying just respawns a berg at the same location you last spawned one. Especially with levels that have _multiple_ buttons to press, it feels a little frustrating to lose all progress because of a missed jump. Reserve a full reset of the level for only if the player presses reset.

TL;DR
Really fun, super creative, love the little guys and the art. Only a minor design gripe that only really bit me on the very last level.

BERG!!

There`s something about this game makes it nostalgic for me and I love that. It reminds me of something I would have played when I was in middle school in the computer lab. It`s super cute and well made, great work!

I quite liked this, I played all the levels but I did think level 3 was hard/unclear since I don't recall any explanation for the Berg's being different sizes. I think you used the theme really really well, the summoning feature is was makes the game fun and involves no magic lol. You guys got quite a bit of bang for your buck with that summon feature. Reminds me of a 3DS e-shop game from back in the day. Good work.

Love it. The different sizes having different abilities was cool, but the RNG was unfair at times, like needing a little guy or big guy and never getting them in time. The audio on the summon was an "interesting" choice... Sorry to say I muted it after some time lol. Level design was fitting, and offered a good amount of "ah ha" moments and puzzles to solve using surprisingly few elements. Overall a great entry, and especially clever use of the theme. Great job!

This is simple but really well executed and very fun puzzle game. Despite being a simple mechanic, I think the puzzles that you put together actually presented a good level of difficulty. Honestly, I'm always really impressed when some one is able to come up with such a clever, straight-forward idea and then make it fun and challenging.

It looks fantastic and is very polished with fun music and sounds. I think it's a really cool interpretation of the theme, too!

Great game! Well done!

Cool game! Nice art style and music. I would to play some more levels. Some feedback:
- Edges of the screen should work as walls, since falling through them feels a bit weird.
- Maybe adding some control over who tall the summon is would be nice. To give more control to the player.
- In some levels the solution did not felt obvious, not sure if I solve them as intended. It is not a bad thing, but I felt a bit lost because of it not knowing if I'm missing some mechanic or not.

Anyway, good job with the game!

Fantastic game! I got stuck on the level right before the last one (i think haha) it had a red area near the top right corner. tricky tricky. Very good game overall. I suppose the only place i think it can be improved is the time between pressing E and being able to move on, probably just as simple as making the bergs fall faster. Perhaps that can be optional, if the user is holding shift or something.

Fun concept, nice little game! The randomness of the bergs was a little frustrating at the end when you need a small one or one that can jump higher. Having to restart the level because the level simply got too cluttered with unwanted bergs was funny but not really the greatest feeling haha. Game is defintely well put together though, nice job!

BERG! A great little game that is almost perfect, with just a couple of notes. Firstly, jumping off screen to finish a level isn't always the most obvious to a user, so finding a way to demonstrate that mechanic would be a good start to teaching them that this is a way around. Of course, that may not have been the intention at all. Secondly, the controls could be tightened up just a little to feel better playing. That last level had me walking off the edge a lot when I was trying to jump. Finally, having the restart button so close to summon did cause a couple of accidental reset. All in all though, a fantastic game and I really look forward to seeing where this one goes in the future!

This game was cute! I love the music and visual effects for the bg and goal, and the funny audio BERG every time one was summoned. The concept for summoning was also very well executed. Sometimes the character walks a bit too far to the left or right and I have to restart the level which felt a bit unfair especially when I was close to beating it. I liked the way the levels progressively taught the players the mechanics of the game. Overall a really fun and challenging puzzle platformer, great work!

Nice little game. Not too difficult, not too easy. I liked the fact you can infinitely spawn bergs but you can get stuck because of that. Multiple sizes of bergs were such a nice idea espacially with the jump height difference. Really enjoyed playing it! Also sound and music are very good, graphics are well made too with a unique style. Nice entry!

Super cute! Very fun main mechanic that seems to have a lot of versatility for creating interesting puzzles. My only real complaint is that "E" and "R" are right beside each other. There were several times I accidentally reset a puzzle, but that's my own stupid fault.

Really well done, I enjoyed that a lot!

Brilliant design and theme interpretation! This was quite an enjoyable puzzle platformer experience, with a core mechanic introduced and explored in depth through level design. The simplistic graphics are also effective in conveying the mood and the cues. One mild hindrance, were I to get picky, is that it was not made clear that getting to the unactivated finishing point before activating the switches does not get the puzzle solved. An improvement I can think of is to add a hint for the height of the coming berg, similar to Tetris.

I'd personally be more grateful if there is an "undo" button (given a deterministic random sequence), but never mind, I guess such punishment for failure in execution is what puzzle platformers are about (^ ^;

This is great! I love the summoning sound effect. Platforming was occasionally a tiny bit janky (and you could die by walking off the edge sometimes) but that's forgivable as it's a jam game. I really like the clever puzzle design here. I agree with the point made above that having a "next berg" indicator would be nice or something because sometimes it was a little hard to plan your next move when you weren't sure what size you were going to get next, and I got stuck a few times due to that. I really liked the graphics, it gave me flash game vibes a little bit. Overall this is really well done, props to you!

This is so good. At first I was thinking there couldn't possibly be any challenge if you can just spawn as many as you want, but you quickly proved me wrong! Especially on the levels with red areas you won't get anywhere even if you spawn 50 of them if you're not clever about it.

Simple graphics but in such a nice way. Looks so nice and consistent with the vibrant colours and complete adherence to rectangles. The bergs are so cute with their li'l faces and different variations, and of course the size actually matters to the puzzles too and you introduced that well early on.

Great music that fits well and of course the recurring "BERG" is iconic.

I agree with a comment I saw that WASD + E was awkward, at least when you needed to freeze a berg at a specific position in the air, but that was easily solved by just moving with arrows instead, so that's another victory for options :)

Finally the puzzles themselves were a lot of fun and you ramped them up well. Very nicely done.
