I loved your art style for this game. It took me a couple minutes to figure what to do but when I did I was ready to start moving my progression. In the end, I found the 'idleness' of the game to be a bit slow but there's a lot of potential here from the graphics to the main mechanics. I'd love to see this in a full-fledged game!

Great game, I feel that some of the upgrades aren't working, specifically the ones with the clicker, I was always producing way more chaos than I could collect

Interesting idea! I like that you tried something new here, such as with the runes system. Graphics are really nice.

However, the game is held back a bit by some bugs (which leads to some balancing issues). Some of the upgrades don't work properly (I've tested the click upgrades specifically, and they don't stack like you'd expect). This ends up stunting your blood collection significantly, since the only other thing that collects blood automatically is swords. Otherwise you're just left to click for 2 a pop due to the aforementioned bug, which isn't great. Also, some of the UI numbers don't update correctly (such as unit costs)

Otherwise it's pretty fun

Thank you for testing my game and for your feedback @dinoraz @nickcherns @legendarypie
I was caught up by time, I didn't have time to work on the improvements and I couldn't test most of the upgrades...
I'm going to try to improve this by fixing the bugs and tweaking the improvements a little.

Very nice atmosphere and art! Good mix of creepy and silly. It does scale up satisfyingly to more and more stuff happening.

I don't have too much experience with clickers - is there a fail state in this one? I didn't really know when I made "good" or "bad" decisions and mainly bought random stuff, some more feedback to help on this might be good.

Some simple music and sound effects would go a long way to help make it more fun I think - e.g. some feedback sound each time you click on something etc.!

Hi @neontropics in this case there a no fail state, bad decision might just waste your time, like most of clicker do  .

Interesting take on an idler with nice graphics, and fun to see an idea my team considered initially too ("cultist clicker"). I wound up playing it until I had all the upgrades!

Some kind of a brief tutorial or explanation on how things work would have been nice, especially the chickens, runes and chaos - I figured it all out eventually, but I was a bit confused at first. Would have also been nice if the summoned things appeared visually in some way, somewhere, even as a simple tally. The game would also have benefited greatly from even a simple background music track!

Mechanically the game is sound, and the player interacting with both the heart's collection rate and the progress of upgrades (while catching chicken cultists) was a nice, engaging addition, and the rising runes were a very satisfying visual que. It was also an interesting sub-game in itself to balance between more chaos pumping blood into the heart and swords extracting it, so as to not waste influx of chaos or the efficiency of the swords! The visuals and theme instantly drew me in, and kept me engaged.

I love how this clicker game allowed my other hand to be active too, instead of just having to play it with the mouse hand :')

Cool incremental game, and a pretty one at that!

Love the contrast between the eerie beating heart and your goofy little chicken cultists. The animations and vfx are also very cool. Some audio would have further reinforced the atmosphere, too bad it's missing. Also would have loved an endgame or objective other than getting all upgrades, but most clicker games are that way haha.

Well done!

This game was so much fun and I played all the way till the final werewolf upgrade. This 'cookie clicker-like' was so much fun. You really made it in the summoning theme. The animations and art style were top notch. I wished there was more different kind of weapons or swords to stab the heart with and it would be fun to see the chaos being wrecked by the summoned monsters somewhere. The cult chicken were an awesome addition to the game and the fact that you can summon runes to cast your spells was a nice touch. Very nice and polished idle game, good job!

Loved the vibe of the dark coven with a huge bloody heart in the center. The art is great and typing idea is super cool

really nice idle game. Loved the art style and how the progression showed visually, with the chickens, blood dripping and swords.

Nice! Love the art, especially the cultist chickens, lol! Has that "clicker" addictive quality, though some additional content would be nice (though that goes for _all_ jam games, tbh). Music/sfx would be a nice touch as well. Great job on this though!

Loved the game, that's a realy cool idea that you summon by typing. Some music or even just a few sounds would have been great, but all in all great game.

Oh it's so dark and bloody! It really stands out from other games) I would like to add speed. But pumping the heart was very hypnotizing, like pop-it)) guilty pleasure. Art and animations - top!

Now, that's summoning ! I found the role of the chickens in the rituals hilarious. I love clickers :)
I bought all upgrades, got lots of summoners, blood flows faster than my swords can drain it and I have no idea what unholy thing will happen next...
I really liked there is two currencies in this game (blood and chanting), it perfectly fits the theme :)

This is nice entry. Congrats on making clicker where I had to play it until I had everything unlocked :) However few things I was missing: Some basic explanation of what is actually going on, with chickens, with chicken hooded people. Some simple music or effects would give it another great layer of atmosphere. Also there were mentioned skeletons/zombies/etc... would love to see them visualised in some form as well. But! I know it is much to ask for a jam, as for me, it is already very impressive how well you managed to make nice and catchy clicker game! Great job

Art style is great, also I lova animations! I would like also to hear some music and sounds, I bet you would do it also great. For me was not enough infromation of counting upgrades I already gained, also the time between the moment you "order" spell and time that you actually gain it is kinda slow and not translated to me, just with the symbols that priests typing. Also maybe that would be interestingn if you do some QTE-minigame instead of just random symbols, because in the beginning it's kinda annoying. The game is generally cool, you interpretated theme creativly!
