I assumed I could get more than four characters due to the UI spacing. I never got to the win state, but was really unsure of the overall goal was, other than to continue fighting for a different combo. I thought right clicking on lower health units would unsummon them, but it seems to only sacrifice the unit to the far right (played the web version).
Very impressive for a solo developed jam. Well done. :)
If you are going to do Ludum Dare on your own, you could consider competing in the compo. It would only give you 48 hours rather than 72 but I feel like the competing alone is the hardest part of the compo so if your already doing that you could try the compo. Otherwise, I think it would be best to find some people to help with aspects of game development you aren't great at.
Instead I would like to see more tactics, like maybe giving player a chance to upgrade some, heal some already summoned soldiers (Maybe soldiers with healing capability could heal some health after each battle, thus making it more investable stat). I was not able to create effective army, since I always had to dispose of all the better soldiers.
Overall a neat game with a good idea!
