header.png <- About the game ->

Enemies will come in waves and try to tear down your castle.

Starting as the king, you have to slay them and collect their souls to gain the power to summon one of your underlings. Now playing as your summon youre previous played character moves to the castle and empowers it depending on the character type.

Try to summon as much as you can and defend your castle as long as possible!

<- Controls ->

Really fun game. I love the old school graphics and sound design. The CRT effect is really cool as well. It's challenging but once you get a good summon and start going, it's a lot of fun!

Very challenging! Switching out with your underlings is a fun and novel mechanic. I'd probably prefer a lower difficulty curve, and I did notice that reading the "how to play" doesn't pause the game. Good job!

I liked it, it's simple, but tasteful. I adore such pixel art and sounds and music are also on level. Great job!

Fun game! I like the visual style and the innovative summoning mechanic. I couldn't get very far as it seems enemies take a loot of hits to kill (probably a skill issue). Some minor stuff: For some reason the UI elements are quite small on my screen (maybe because of high dpi) and I couldn't get X to attack to work!

Interesting summon progression. Somehow I thought I'd fall back to my previous summon if my current one died. I had so many summons around my castle when I got game over! They could hold the line!

It was really fun playing your game!, loved the different characters you unlock and their powers, my favorite one was the archer.

Ok First of all I had a lot of fun! The game is quite difficult and that made me want to be better. The one upgraded guy feels weaker than his predecessor( I'm talking about the slashing guy). Also the previously summoned guys didn't help very much... I feel like it would be cool if when your guy dies and you get to play as the previous person only loosing when your king dies, I was quite surprised when this wasn't the case.

Small thing:
Opening the how to play menu should pause the game.

Overall well worth playing for a little bit, Good Job!

Very fun and stylisitic game! It was hard to get my head around it, but when I did, it became super addicting once I figured it out. Would've loved to see more variety, or perhaps more enhancements you could do. But apart from that, genuinely awesome game!

Great game, the game mechanics are fun, the graphics are so cool making it look like an old arcade. The only thing its the souls, they are so tiny that in the beggining I didnt notice them.
Overall, great game!

Looks and plays nice, good job! If only I could return to the previous character upon death :D

Cool aesthetic and it's fun to cycle through the different playstyles of all the different underlings!

Way too hard for me honestly, but so polished and crisply presented. I want to be able to play this in the arcade in Stardew Valley.

Interesting summoning system. Might take time to get used to changing playstyle between minions.
I'd have to replay again someday to complete this game.

Very fun! Love the juice and the polish on show here. I wasn't able to make it too far - but I squealed in excitement when I unlocked the summons and was finally able to tackle the invaders head on!

really nice game loop! the different characters have cool abilities that differ well from one another and i was happy to discover them!

i wish you were able to keep LMB pressed to attack in loop and not having to click everytime.

cool job, congrats!

This was a great little game! Scoped well and had a neat core mechanic. What I think could be interesting is chaining your summons, such that every new summon is a "life" and dying just makes you take control of the previous summon. To lose, you either lose the castle or every one of your summons. Either way epic work very based
