Absolutely love the unbalanced difficulty (esp. phase 1), thematically lovable and really gets across the sentimental workplace swing between "My manager is insane! This is so much pressure!" and "Oh! My manager is insane. I don't deserve this pressure.. relax." (And then you're in prison...)

it is insanely difficult! I like the retrostyle, sounds are fitting. How did you make this in such a short amount of time?? well done!

What an interesting premise! And very difficult to play especially physics based burning of documents section.
One critique I have is that the text at least from my computer is that it is hard to read. Consider using a way to highlight the text with brighter hues. Either way fun and hilarious game.

@meru lots of caffeine! glad you liked it.

@ejc yeah the difficulty got a bit out of hand - and thanks for the tip on the text! it's the first time I've tried a hand-drawn pixel font so it was a bit of a gamble.

Wow, wasn't expecting THREE games. These were great. The art style was consistant. The games were though but fun.

Hilarious and masterfully done! Reminded me papers please in a mean fun way. Very clear gameplay, fun levels, definitely in my top list for this jam

The sorting game was my favorite from them all, but they were all awesome to play. Nice work!

This game was great fun. I really enjoyed the interpretation of the theme. I enjoyed the unique art style.
In all seriousness, great game. Oh also, Why was six scared of seven? Because seven “ate” nine.

That was so fun! Graphics are 90s like, like those old CDs you found in magazines. I love it.

Cool idea of minigames, although I didn't unsderstand if it's possible to "win" (maybe not, given YOUR BOSS WILL ALWAYS CONTROL YOU).
Even more amazing knowing it was done in C! Congrats!

Bloody love it! The instructions for the witnesses was cut off by scrollbars on Firefox so I figured that one out by trial and error  I liked how the judges in the middle of the screen were tough to get too. Great game.

Haha cool game there. I like these types. It was polished, fitting sounds (though maybe a couple were a bit piercing (i know just turn down my volume, you're right)) and the narrative that went along with it was funny. The visual style was very consistent too. I especially liked the bomb the witnesses. Though, the bribe officials started too quickly and by the time I understood what I was supposed to do, I was dead. But, great job overall !

@coatline yeah I wish in retrospect I had given a little pause with instructions before each stage vs. just throwing them up on the screen and throwing the player off into the deep end. glad you liked it though!

Wow, nice idea! I managed to save my boss from the court, but I don't really know if that was the right call given what we know about this person...

A very funny entry with funny dialog, the first minigame is so impossible but so appropriate! The bombing one had its instructions cut off for me as well so I just bombed the entire highway and my boss was happy so... Mission complete I guess :D
And the final stage was stressful, I am not entirely sure I understood exactly how the cops were moving but I got out of there alive so... Good enough for me :p

Overall a very good game! It was fun, my only complains would be the hard to read font (especially on the in-between screens) and the audio is a bit dry but hey, it's a compo game. Congrats!

First of all, great work!
I love seeing a game jam game that properly sets the scene and explains how it works in-game. It might have been nice if I had a second to read the rules before each minigame started though haha.

As others have said, it's very hard (but I think thats a good thing. Much funner than if it was too easy).

I love the hand drawn pixel art style its very fitting.

I think the SFX can get a little annoying, but I understand in compo you gotta do what you gotta do haha.

I also think the first minigame would have benfitted from a 10 second window where you can try to sort them without more coming in, because it's very easy to get screwed in the last few seconds by basically RNG.

Overall great entry, keep up the amazing work!

Oh my, those floaty controls were funny trying to get anything done XD Really worked well with the aesthetic of the game. Great work!

The control in the first two stage is too slippy and frustrating, but the art style is great.
