I loved the theme to your game along with the graphics, the retro visceral feel was refreshing and the sound was the cherry on top. Unfortunately, I struggled to figure out to do and how. I took me a few tries to figure out how to survive a wave and from there it just felt like I could keep stacking Jaw components to defeat the little people. Overall, I love the feel of your game and the art style definitely has a lot of potential.

Awesome concept, Jaw is OP, adding stuff like legs in the future and bigger levels would be super sweet! I would totally buy a future version of this game. It definitely needs a small tutorial though

This is amazing. I could see this winning the compo. Intriguing and looks and feels very polished. The concept of assembling your monster is so fucking cool, and I would have loved even more options for parts. The whole game is also supported by a really impressive, uncanny visual atmosphere. The eerie sound design adds a lot too.

Too bad you have to start all over if you lose to a wave, it gets a tiny bit tedious.

Great job, I really encourage you to make a full version after the jam !

Aside from the fact gravity is somewhat OP, I love it!

Awesome visuals and vibes. Gameplay is super easy when you realize how everything works, but this feels like a solid foundation for a great game. Would maybe work really well on mobile?

Bug: If you finish the game and hit Restart, the king still spawns.

Took me some time to understand what works how and to resist the urge to just attach the most pretty thing in the most symmetrical manner... Well, I lied, I didn't resist this urge. I might have accidentally discovered the OP build: two stairs of jaws on both sides supported by a spine with a liver on top (for decoration of course) seems to be unbeatable. :D

I see a ton of potential in this, and the whole building mechanic seems to be a bottomless pit of gameplay ideas. Speaking of which, I see you did another building game for LD54, I'm off to check that out, too!

Great art and vibe, I love the terrifying monster I end up with, I just wish I got to use it more (even though I know that's a dumb thing to say during a game jam). The winning strategy appears to be to make a wide shape and instantly crush everyone to death, but if not doing that I love the crazy shapes you end up with by trying to get eyes and the organs needed to make eyes work all packed together. Great stuff!

Nice graphics, but I had trouble dealing with the shooter. if I bridged a long row-line, it would be stuck, maybe there was an invinsible barrier(better to mention at first), but I casualy bridged this, it worked well:)![Snipaste_2024-04-17_13-05-18.jpg](///raw/3cf/b4/z/63fc6.jpg)

The game need balance and to be easier to understand, like knowing what kind of enemy you will have to defend against , but I really love those dark weird visual and the idea of customizing your own weird creature.

Creepy and meaty, nice! Not sure if you can build the monster in a wrong way, so it seems really hard to lose the fight. Love the mood and the editor system.

This is very interesting project, I've played till the end) Agree with comments about gravity - it's so over power that you can't test new organs - you kill enemies immediate, when fell down.
But still you've made it so stylish and polished, so it become really immersive. Good luck!
