In the top right corner, where I can select the keyboard layout is the other way around
Huge kudos to the designer, but some robot parts was a bit hard to notice.
Maybe a time limitation would add more difficulity to the game.
I wished there was a player interactive block or dodge (with cooldown) to get out of difficult situations.
Great work. :)
The game is a very clean and tight design. I like the incrementing difficulty.
My two wishes would be: I wish the player move speed was a little faster. I wish one gained a power or ability to help mitigate the large amount of balls that show up in later rounds. It would be more fun to proactively mitigate, instead of just needs to wait for the right route to open up.
About the controls I'd recommend using the axis and not the direct keys, in this way you wont need to have any sort of mapping button in the UI.
Considering the gameplay, it is very nice and engaging. The movement system could use some improvement however. For a bullet-style game like this one, faster and snappier movement would make it more engaging imho.
Overall a nice idea. With some polishing it could be a worthy ship!
A wonderful game with charming visual style, thank you!
All cons I'll point out. Everything else - quite enjoyable 🙂

I got through 6 rounds, died in 7th. UI is also cute by the way, the hearts and a little tutorial too, it's all presented in a neat and clear way.
My main complaint is that the movement feels too slow. Ofc if you decide to change it, the speed of projectiles will also need to be adjusted.
Thank you for the game, it was a nice experience ^^
