It's a really cool idea but I found that the use of the multiple screens maybe was a bit underutilized or maybe just took up a bit to much of the screen? Also using the scroll wheel to select spells was a bit hard when you got stressed out. But I loved the concept, and loved that you tried something original!

I like the art and stile of the game but needs little of optimization, my low a$$ pc needs it. but other than that really good

I thought the extra camera views (eye demons) was a very interesting.

For some reason I found this game really hard so I didn't get very far, but I like the idea, and the atmosphere is well done!

I like the vibe there, the thing that kidda makes me nerous is the wacky control that I have to face with, I really wish I would hold my RMB to constantly moving, rather than repeatly clicking with my tired middle finger lol. Good job!

Fun gameplay mechanics, although scrolling through the glyphs with the mouse wheel is a bit cumbersome. Sometimes I would try to left click the glyphs on the screen.

Good graphics and good music. They really fit the mood of the game.

The last two glyphs in the fourth room were sneaky.

Loved the plot twist at the end of the last level. I was like "Oh, no, I have to redo the level again because I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings." but then I saw the game over screen and I was like "Oh, wait, that's it.".

Great job!

Controls were a bit wonky, and the big runes really limited vision, I would have preferred if the darkness played that role more than the UI. The story was interesting and engaging, and there was a solid mood in the game. I think this game would have benefitted from the skills just being more impactful, but I still had a good time playing.

Finally got around to reviewing it, wahooo! Lovely entry. Playing it back now the only problem I had was that blooming mouse wheel, other than that I thought it was excellent. I wish you would stop doing so good and making me look bad 😵

Love the mood and your sound design is great! Polished level progression and tutorial, in a weekend, screams professional and is inspiring me to change how I prioritize. The UI felt a bit clunky and was blocking the view, although I get that it's because of the demon eye cameras.. Could work better if they were more dynamic (time issue I know).

The demon eyes are a really cool mechanic idea though, I'd love for it to be focused on even more. As is, I didn't really find the need to look in their views.

The fact that you change spells with mouse wheel is difficult to keep track of and feel effective with, fascinating idea to try out but not sure how well it works in reality.

Thanks for an awesome, innovative jam!

I really enjoyed the art and the music in this one. The controls left something to be desired though. Having to click to move was tedious and made it extremely difficult to evade enemies. The overall concept was interesting though, and I enjoyed that.

Woah! I have just come back to this after a few days and am so happy to see all these comments! Thank you!

@bentglasstube , yes totally agree on the controls. I went through a few versions of movement but ended up sticking with what I have based on a suggestion from a friend... HE KNOWS WHO HE IS! :D

@rasblo thanks for the kind words and yep, you are right! while I am happy with what I made, it lacks in all the areas you mention :) I couldn't quite get the lighting to work for the demon views so ended up trying to bring the objects closer.

@wisstopher thanks for playing! A lot of people struggle with the controls so don't feel bad! and if you pick up blender, you can have a ton of fun with making visuals!

@jonathan-vinesar thanks for playing and yes, controls ended up being a problem as many have said here :)

@andriybyelikov so glad you got to the twist! It was a last minute addition and panic implementation to fix it all up!

@helicule navigation ended up being an issue due to lighting and fast/panic level design :)

@foursay I messed with a few movement modes and settled on this. From all teh comments, I think it was the wrong choice!

@chiara-sanviti Thank you! Quite happy with those bits :)

will check out all your games in the next few days! Thanks again!

Ambientmusic/sounds were great. I really like the visuals on the glowing glyphs, particles and the shader work. I understand the need for large UI elemets, but I still would have hoped to see more of the screen. I think that would have upped the ambience even more! Polish on the animations and movement system would have helped, but can't have time for everything👍
