Update: Itch.Io page online! You can actually play the game now! Couldn't see the comments until now because time zones (-_-).

Holy cow this slaps!! Really taken by surprise here, this is a nearly perfect entry! All the mechanics feel really good and satisfying, the enemies are fast and engaging to dodge, the healing mechanic is clever and intuitive, and the upgrade system is just the icing on the cake. I'm not sure if you did the music since you're opted out of audio, but it does match the energy of the game very well, and I love how they ended in time with the waves. The only issues I had were:

- Occasionally when getting caught in a clump of cells, I would jump around sporadically. Took a couple unnecessary hits from this but not a huge issue
- B is an awkward binding for spawning helper cells, I think right mouse would have made much more sense.
- During the second set of upgrades, I am still able to choose the upgrade I took previously. Both upgrades I choose will be gone in the third set, but in the second one everything is always available. This led me to mistakenly think they could stack in my first run
- Playing another game in the same session, it seems to retain the upgrades and cells from the previous run, and the game starts to perform much worse

Overall great work! Definitely a hidden gem, maybe the most fun I've had so far this jam.

Thanks a lot for the incredible feedback! @oliver-richmeier ,

-The B key was just a random key I assigned while testing, Since I got very used to it while making the game, I never thought about anything else, and Now that I think about it the right mouse would have made a lot more sense (._.).

-I tried to fix the bug about the upgrades when I had about 3 hours, I tested it between the 2nd and the 3rd upgrade scenes, Perhaps since I didn't test the 1st and the 2nd scenes something went wrong. ://

-The upgrades carrying over was just something I didn't think of, with the way the upgrade system works, It makes sense the upgrades would carry over. My Bad!!

-About the music, I made all of the music in the game, however I didn't have enough time to make original music for each wave, So I just reused fitting music I had already made.

Thanks again for taking the time to play and review the Game!

i love the game play and the summonning of helpers are well-designed and my bullet can actually hurt my helper viruses. nice smooth graphics! it's just sometimes I go too far in one direction and i will be blocked by the collider.

Really funny mechanics, I really enjoyed summoning fifty little dudes and just riding along with them. It's probably a lack of balance, but it's a lack of balance in a really fun way. Good job!
