Pretty fun little game. The gameplay and level design could've been a little more varied, but the hilarious soundeffects made eating those poor adventurers enjoyable. Music was also pretty good.
Some vertical gameplay for example would've probably made it much better, in the current state of the game the ability to jump is pretty much useless. I imagine avoiding the light by jumping up somewhere and then striking down on adventurers. One small bug I noticed: If you haven't started the game and press Esc on the menu you get into the pause screen. If you continue from there on, you end up in an empty scene.
Overall, I enjoyed this, good job! And props for having an options menu with rebindable keys, something I rarely see in LD games.

Gameplay wise there was not much to this and the AI was (as per usual LD standards) herp-derp but I still enjoyed myself because of the ridiculousness of it all and the sounds.

Fun and simple game.

The models & lighting & sound design was spot on! The game got a little self-repetitive towards the end, but I felt it was great fun to stalk around the dungeon and attack the unsuspecting humans. Well done!

Good game pretty fun but it was too easy. All the NPC just sat there or faced a wall. And it lag just a tad

Love that you've got a mac port. Controls are cumbersome, though, on my mac book pro. And the choice of eat really needed to be a keyboard button. Tried to set that up, but didn't look like the keys took. Overall, though, I enjoyed your work! Thanks!

That was really great! Did seem a bit easy though, I never came anywhere near running out of health.

Thanks for checking out the game everyone, and sorry about the bugs. I agree 100% about the AI being derpy and the gameplay/level design being shallow - I just ran out of time.

Cool game. I like the playability, although i am not convinced about the camera control. The music reminds me a jungle or an desert island, another music theme would be more suitable but in overall very well.

Mmm adventurers. While it was fun slurping them up, I wish the light mechanic was a bit more fully-developed. The hallways were a bit too dark (I had to adjust my monitor in order to see not-black), and it was hard to tell where the light was and wasn't, damage-wise. Would have help if there was some feedback when taking damage.

Lot's of fun, but I could only find 44 out of 50 adventurers, and my monstrous appetite was not satisfied. Job well done.

Fun game but I wished the people noticed you more and ran faster.

I love the style, it also has nice audio. Eating adventurers was satisfying but I wish there was more of a visual damage effect on the player when being injured by the light. It would have been fun for the AI to respond more to the players arrival. Good job!

Music was the best, I like to think that's what monsters are hearing vs. the epic choruses we usually ascribe to them. It would have been cool to tie in the grue lore a bit more, waiting for an adventurer's lantern to go out or something, but it was a fun dungeon run nonetheless.
