"The Master" Project by The Walking Kiwi

[raw]
made by The Walking Kiwi for LD33 (JAM)
Welcome to "The Master" Project. This is a game made for the Ludum Dare Jam, keep in mind that us the creators had a BIG plan for the game and tried to do as much as posible in 72 hours, but it's not even close to complete.

In the game you play as The Master, a disease that comes in soups (I know, right?), it's a platformer with a couple of levels though we intend to make more. Also we want to make a wider variety of enemies and bosses for future versions (if there are any).

Edit: If there is an error at the start of the game just ignore it, there was supposed to be an animation there, but we screwed up (picture 4).

Instructions:
W/A/D - Move
Left Click - Sword
You can jump on some enemies, the rest you can figure out by yourself.

Thanks for playing, we hope you enjoy the game even if it's not close to complete!

fun game with good idea, but the walking is very wired like your walking on ice

I like the oppressive, threatening atmosphere you've made with the music and art! Unfortunately, I am terrible at platform games and didn't manage to make it past the first level. A real shame about the missing animation.

Got a video error at the start, but the game played. From there, the game looked interesting, but the fireballs were pretty much impossible to avoid. (This may be because your character moves so far to the right of the screen when moving forward, you don't have much time to react).
Also the collisions when jumping were tough to gauge because it seemed like the detection box was smaller than your sprite, so I ended up getting hurt as much as I would actually stomp things.

Cool platformer, very hard. May I suggest to add some checkpoint every once and then, so I can try to reach the end? :D
