It's a bit hard to summon them. Neat game otherwise.

had fun playing but sometimes it can be a bit hard to summon ducks when being chased, especially if you don't have any ducks to defend with.

What a Ducked up game. Would have love to have sound effects.
The game design is nice, I however got stuck in a level because the exit was not generated in an accessible part of the maze !
Nice job in having a finished product !

Nice, unique, silly idea. The summoning took a few tries to figure out, but it's nice that you get plenty of opportunities to figure it out before enemies appear.

@tomtomgome Sorry that the game ducked you with the exit :P We actually asked ourselfs if this could happen but never observed it in our test-playthroughs. Seems, we were lucky :'D

Thanks for playing :duck:

Fairly solid roguelike, never expected ducks.

Speaking as the submitter of another bird-like game, I appreciate the choice of companion 🦆
Very fun in all! The tension of completing the drawing while being chased & running out of ducks was quite good. Would've appreciated slightly more variation in the level artwork but there's only so much we can do with the time available haha. Good job!

The overall premise is pretty unique and cool. Occasionally the ducks would get stuck, but at least using a ladder brings them right back to you. The summoning mechanic is sweet. I like the idea of having to do some ritual just to cast something.

I was hoping for some retro music and duck quacking sounds, but hey jams are brutal time crunches! Well done. :)

It's really funny, I love it.
It's a nice little mini-game, I like the mechanic that you have to click the summons. Every now and then the ducks get stuck but I personally don't think that's so bad because it increases the difficulty a bit :)

Very innovative! The concept is fantastic, a top-down survivor style game blended with puzzles to summon enemies, which I love! The idea is truly innovative and cool. However, the execution could use some improvement; it lacks music and needs a bit more polishing overall. Despite these issues, I find the game to be very fun, innovative, and original. I believe it deserves much more visibility and recognition than it currently has. Great game!

A nice idea. There is a little bug in the UI. The number of bread you own is half cut at the top left part. So I did not notice immediatly what was it showing, and did not notice it decreased by one when I tried a summonning. So I got rather confused that summonning pools worked, then did not worked.

The laser ducks are really cool, but sometimes they don't immediatly fire their lasers. I guess they have some sort of cooldown. That would have been cool if it was visually shown. The charged laser ducks could glow, for example.

The ponds could have a different aspect if it summons a bomb duck or a laser duck. I wanted to prioritize laser ducks, but I couldn't because I couldn't know the pond type before paying a piece of bread.

So, overall, there are some lacks of feedback in the UI and the game, but it was really fun seeing my duck minions killing all these monsters. (Their design reminds me of the game Alien Breed).

I like it! Don't know if this was RNG, but the first four or so floors didn't have any enemies. I did eventually hit a floor with enemies in multiple rooms and felt like I got the intended experience at that point haha.

Very cool! I liked the levels - procedurally generated I assume? I did run into a bug in one level where there was no way out (I could see a ladder on an island). Would have been nice to have some sound too. I liked that the ducks would kamikaze into enemies if you got too close, but you were better off sitting back with lasers. Nice work getting this together so quickly!
