Description

Remember the fish that one time? Yeah you definitely are the worst wizard. But I heard you are going to a new school to get better? That is awesome. Make sure you arrive on time. it would be a shame if your spells malfunction like last time.

Cool artstyle! Looks smooth and clear. I really like your entry in this jam!

Such a beautiful entry, but the gameplay lets it down (as far as I can tell.) My first run ended stuck in a well (with a lovely water splash effect), and my second run had me with no frog spawns left, and the frog I had spawned was irretrievable.

Well executed concept. I would have liked to play more. I was happy the heavy screen shake from jumping was only inside the first house.

Ho no! There is a collider missing and I felt just before the ending
Maybe the puzzles are too simples, but the lore and mood is really cool!
And at least it permit to the bad wizards like me to go throught the game (I mean, not really, as I failed... Am I REALLY the worst wizard ?!)

It's very short, but what content is here does do a great job of setting the mood. Did someone on your team write the music?

I loved this-- stylish, fun, and I felt like a genius the first time I used the frog to get past an obstacle.

So far this is the best game I've played with actual humor value. That was really good, the audio was amazing and the art is also amazing. Well done!

I loved this! The humor made me laugh out loud, and I really enjoyed playing this. You introduced the mechanics well, this definitely had solid tutorial level / opening level vibes and I could see this being extended into more interesting or complex levels. Art and sound design are on point!

Nice game. Here you can not only summon a frog, but also have a little chat with it, and if you want to switch places)) It's fresh and interesting. Great narrative and atmosphere. I usually don't like to read notes, but your world was interesting to explore)

The graphics look very cute, the portraits with Pepe seem especially funny. I accidentally walked past the academy at the end and fell off the level, apparently they forgot to put up an invisible wall.

Nice game! Really charming visuals and audio, it feels very polished overall. Your team made great use of the "Summoning" theme and built an enticing world around it, even with just a few notes and areas. I would definitely continue playing if there were more!

I'd say my favorite part of the experience was, as others have mentioned, seeing each pepePainting along the way. To be frank, the indirect storytelling through those fun little illustrations (and short captions) left me more interested in those frog wizards than the one I was controlling! That sort of indirect storytelling feels very wholesome and seemed to share a lot about... both wizards' personalities, really, whether they are to be interpreted as analogous or narrative foils. Personally, it reminded me a lot of vlog and TV show montages, where the audience can experience life in the world as it occurs naturally, so I'm really glad you chose to add those in.

Overall, well done on all fronts! Short and sweet, I'd definitely consider it a worthy "Summoning" game.

Lesson learnt. Never summon a fish.
I think the music and the art style are brilliant. I also think the game concept is very successful.

The game is very pretty and the Harry Potter vibe is very nice. Although the gameplay mechanics are very simple, the game is very well-executed, with a nice polish.

I like the mood of this a lot. The misty exterior and the music and the mystery with the environmental storytelling. I love the pepe artwork too. Whoever did that did a great job. Made me laugh. The summons and puzzles are interesting. A very good entry. Can't think of anything to complain about. Well done!

Fantastic art and music, fun dialogues and paintings! You can easily develop this idea beyond a simple platformer but for the jam it definitely works. Congrats!

Amazing game. The overal presentation is brilliant. Art, animations, audio, polish, light, particles, it's really perfect. The main mechanic is nice, too. Dialogues are well-written. Perfect!

I mean everyone said it before, but I have to say it again: The graphics are amazing! :)
I also really enjoyed the music. The game was short, but very polished. Great work! One of my favorite games so far.

Very nice atmosphere, music, and art! The summoning mechanic was cool and innovative, it could have been a little bit faster and there could have been some more puzzles. The art and dialogue was very well written so just wished there was more <3 anyway, very good entry

A good, polished game with a magical, mysterious atmosphere and some irony! Reminds me of Rincewind from Terry Pratchett.

Amazing game! Stunning visuals and great atmosphere. And these pepe drawings are just lovely. The degree of polish really reminded me of a full fledged indie game. Gameplay is a bit limited, but that's easy to forgive with all the other great things going on. :) I also fell down on the very end, but luckily you uploaded the walkthrough video where I could verify I didn't miss all that much.

The puzzles were fun, just bored with yet another male protagonist + heterosexual combo. This identity obviously has no real meaning ......

Amazing game with excellent visuals and audio.
A very interesting take on the theme with the frog sidekick that the player can summon and can be used as teleport target for the player.
The animated menu screen was a very nice touch to an already excellent game!
Great job!
