If there's one thing I know about rats, it's that they love chasing that Cheese. And they love shooting monolithic killing machines with their lasers. I know what you're thinking: That's two things.

The graphics and concept were pretty fun! I was a little confused about how the cheese came into play at first, but the vibe was neat and I liked the weird enemy prism things. Good luck!

sound design was simple yet effective implemented.

Mood was nice and I liked the rat models. gameplay loop is satisfying. Nice to see someone else with a rats theme :p

Really like the artstyle! Like what @warren-fisher mentions, I didn't really know how to play the game and was confusing at first but quickly getting it. Concept is also nice. Hope you all the best!

The WebGL on itch is just a black screen for me, not sure why. Sound still plays.

When I went into this I was expecting silly little rat game, I did not expect to be filled with fear everytime I advanced. Very cool and fun though

@theyflower glad you got it sorted. I wonder what was causing the black screen... it has worked for me on both windows and mac. wonder if it an OS thing?

Neat little game! Fun to bhop around and watch my little guys do their thing. I got pretty much instakilled on the 4th round tho

This is giving me Devil Daggers vibes! Love the idea of baiting rats into shooting stuff for you, the game gets difficult pretty quickly but that's part of what makes it fun. The atmosphere and visual effects are pretty cool too. Good job on doing the compo!

This game was so freaking weird haha, I love it.

I got to the second level a few times, but kept dying to something I couldn't see.

Very fun and nice scaling in challenge. I could wish for a visible differens in ground vs. air or at least some form of horizontal line, but other that that i had great fun! Very nice concept!

Honestly despite the silly concept this was weirdly the most terrifying game of the jam for me so far lol. Something about the low-poly graphics and distorted sounds with the low drones of the enemies was really imposing, so great job there - and the gameplay of summoning your rats got surprisingly tense whenever you were separated from them!
