Wizard Battle by Hylazu
Card-based monster combat game.
Build a custom deck (or use the default) and fight against an enemy. First to hit opponent with 3 different of your monsters wins!
IMPORTANT: Whenever anyone takes damage, all creatures on the field are cleared. However, if the evil wizard takes damage they still will summon on their turn.
How to play:
-When deckbuilding, click to add a card and right click to remove card. There's no limit on what deck you can make, even though there probably should be! Oh well
-In gameplay, cards can be played using your energy, the large number on the left. Cards have a yellow cost in the upper left, red attack in the upper right, health in the lower left, and movement in the lower right. When done press END TURN and your creatures will act in turn, front to back, and then the enemy will summon and will act then front to back
Bugs:
-Some of the spells don't work properly, namely the decay and shield spell, which were added last minute lol

a couple things could have been more clear... some of the cards said... CHOOSE... but didnt tell me what I was choosing... pretty sure I threw away good cards cause of that.
and when you hit the enemy... you lose everything on the field... that woulda been nice to know before I summoned stuff that wouldnt have made it to him...
Some audio would have been great, too, but overall, well done on this entry and keep it up!
One bummer was that on my Macbook Air everything is super small and I couldn't really see well (also zooming in didn't work)
Once getting past that though, the game seemed to play fairly well and I didn't notice any bugs. Well done!
Something to focus on for future projects would be to get some sound effects and visual feedback into the game. This is something I often neglect too but can really make a huge difference in making the game feel like a proper game rather than a little demo/prototype.
Good luck on any future projects!
I think numbers were a little hard to see even when zooming in. Maybe if there were slower animations during attacks it would be easier to follow.
Overall I had a lot of fun though. Good job!
The game would definitely benefit from more visual feedback and some sfx. But I do understand that we are all racing against the clock during the jam. On some enemies, the numbers are very poorly visible - could use some background under them or just brighter colors. I also wasn't sure what the big number in the "energy portal" was representing, but mine got up to 5.
Overall, it was a nice experience and I totally won

I just spammed cards and won. It was fun to watch, but there was no challenge.
The art is really cool! The simplicity is very appealing and everything reads well.
