A perfect example of taking a simple concept and executing it well.
Got addicted to blowing up asteroids and zooming around the map.
Overall awesome work!
In any case, great work!
In any case congrats on delivering!
Solid gameplay, clear visuals and a rhythmic soundtrack. Together these make it a small but polished game. Nice entry!
Haha yes, agreed, we ended up steering away from the theme.
I think we ended up having to do this to end up with something actually playable towards the end (our initial ideas may have been too *fancy*)
Do folks have suggestions for project scope management/suggestions for how to actually come up with nice gameplay ideas given the theme?
My team spent a solid three hours trying to figure out a way to make a game based on the theme, and ended up with this being the idea. partially because we thought it would be easy to implement (it was the first game jam for the majority of my team, and I didn't want to overwhelm them)
