Summons of the Sovereign by Hare Software

Summons of the Sovereign
Summons of the Sovereign is a board game in which you have to defeat the opposing ruler using summoned monsters. However, after a monster is summoned, it is not under your control anymore. Use additional units to boost, upgrade or redirect monsters on the board to either protect yourself or threaten your opponent. Whoever loses their ruler last wins the game!
Features:
- Option to play local multiplayer or play against the computer
- Fully voiced units with unique personalities
- An amazing soundtrack
- Pretty isometric pixel art
Controls:
Left Mouse: Select card. After selecting a card, click on the tile you want to place the card on.
Right Mouse: Deselect card.
Mouse wheel: Scroll the mouse wheel to change the direction the card will be placed in.
Additional rules:
- Once placed, units do not belong to either faction and will apply their effects (attack, boost, redirect) to any unit it applies to.
- When two units of the same type want to move to the same tile, they will turn around instead.

You should add a description to the game page, it's too bad people are missing such a nice game
One of the things that I find the most impressive is how you managed to make the AI opponent feel like a "real" person.
As usual with your entries the sound, music and voice acting are on another level. I also really appricate the Hare-software art style!
I think you are going to "Reap What You Sow", or in other words; great entry, deserves a great placement!
Awesome visuals and sounds.
While the mechanics looked a little too random at first after a couple of games they started to make sense.
I think it will really have help if all the player to have same background. At first I though the summon monster actions, which looked like a fliped card, where unavailable actions ;-).
Great job!
Simple and polished. I love the fact that you added a computer as well as the option to battle another player.
Would love to see a future version with more unit types and different maps (maybe obstacles or types of terrains that affect units?)
Usually I dont like board games but I had a great time with this one.
It's like chess but better.
Did you use AI for the voice acting? And libraries for the sounds? Or was everything done from scratch with actual voice acting?
The voice acting, all sounds and music was done by people from scratch. You can check the credits in the game to see who did what. We always put a huge amount of focus on audio because when done right, it can make or break a game experience. Thanks for the wonderful feedback!
This could definitely become a full release. No, not could, should -- please make a full game out of this.
It's amazing this was created in 3 days tbh.
Finally, what fonts did you use in game and on the itch.io page? I have been using pixel fonts for my games, and they don't look as good.
The idea is really nice and really could be an entire game with more characters, a campaign, rankeds and an economic model based on skins for the characters and ... ok I calm down.
All of this to say that your game is really cool, I want more :D
The fact that you had voice acting was really cool! The art was also super nice and really gave each of the different pieces its own feeling. Really well done! I really enjoyed this entry :D
