You are the Wizard of Blorkuia Tower, ancestral home of the byggins and glubbins (little summoned creatures). Unfortunately, you have been trapped outside of your tower and you lost your spellbook.
You will need to summon many arcane allies to undo the mystical traps you've laid for... well... kinda a situation like this. You just thought you'd be on the other side of all the traps...

As soon as I spotted that artstyle of yours I immediately had to play the game. The visuals the audio and the adorable characters are a delight. And how did you even come up with those names?!
I just wish I was able to somehow undo the last placed item, because sometimes I press the wrong button or just put the Faluuta in slightly wrong spot and I have to restart the whole level from the beginning.
As for names, they came from all of us, I drew a doodle and named it Blort, and that became the yardstick for the tone of our names. Most of them are silly puns:
Block -> Bluuk
Goes Up -> Gozzuppa
Walker -> Wakka
Television -> Far Looker -> Faluuka
Big One -> Byggin
Managed to finishe the game even without the extra Bluuk, but in the beginning I really struggled with the "non-standard" choice of buttons for control (especially when you use a qwertZ keyboard). I also made an odd control scheme once and realized that many people had issues. Another issue I ran into was the Wakka beeing a true cat and not wanting to walk into the other direction. Had a lot of fun anyway ;)
The controls are a bit odd, I agree, something to tinker with. The wakka was even more catlike than you realize, oh the amount of collective manhours we spent _trying_ to get it to behave, but some of them still eluded us...
Great work at designing the puzzles, difficulty was just right for a GameJam.
The music was fitting and well balanced for headphones.
The artwork is very unique, but very fitting for a GameJam.
Using up the spells is a great way to limit the player, but having to restart the level because you missplaced a spell by a few pixels is a bit frustrating. It's not bad as the levels are short enought, but an undo would be great, or a way to move it for a few pixels around the origin after placing.
The jump might feel a bit clunky as you can't controll yourself as soon as you leave the ground, but as I used this kind of jump in one of my first GameJam games it felt a bit nostalgic.
TLDR: Great game, controlls need some adjusting to, think twice before placing anything.
Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!
Great polish and cute walk/death SFX lol
Well executed!
I usually like the idea of placing down objects in order to use them as platformers, and here it's done pretty well!
I also really enjoy the clever pun names for the characters as someone who likes to that with my own ones
Just personal preference I would have liked a bit more control in the air because it caused me to die quite a bit, also if the jump was a bit higher as it caused me to get stuck and have to restart a few times, the game would really befit of that undo mechanic everyone is talking about lol, it was still enjoyable tho, the puzzles were pretty fun and easy to figure out.
Good entry!
