Absolutely loved this one. The different texts and characters' personalities are really great!

Really solid game, low scope with the visual novel, and you used that time well with the polish, art, and comedic writing! Well done! I got the bad ending :|

Pleasantly surprised. The story takes a while to get going but pays off

Wow. This game was so high quality and had such a high scale. I can not believe this was made for a jam! Every part of this game worked to create an amazing experience, from the high quality art to the music to the timing, it all just works so well. And that save feature was amazing to use once I figured it out, definitely made it easier to get back in to the game and try different characters.
Speaking of the character and their stories were so well made. I genuinely felt excited and frustrated talking to the characters and when the music changed for Angel Inferno I fell out of my chair because I was laughing so hard. Excellent choice there.
I also loved the way you did the final ending once swipping was done, instead of just getting off the computer you actually completed the story which made everything feel so much more complete.

This is probably my favorite game on this jam, I'm in love with the art and writing! And the ending was so wholesome. Angel Infernal is my favorite match, they're so cringe it's perfect (and HECKING funny)

Love your game! The writing is so good, I love the music and the demons' art, too. All the options are so fun, Concubus' description is so on point :D And the ending is very sweet!

If only online dating was this wholesome in real life. This was a great experience, one of the best put together games in this jam, well done!

Maybe it's just a visual novel and I'm a Christian, but as a game it looks amazing. One of the best in my top list on this LD :D

The art is amazing, and the story is very charming, i played twice, first time i chose the suitcase guy and the second time i got the sleep paralysis demon, I'll tell you, i was not expecting him to actually be right in the room with me, but that was cool, i liked it, good game, very charming

The game definitely needs more gameplay as it was mostly just reading text. I do think the story was well written though, it's unfortunate LD doesn't have a "story" category.

Been a while since I've gone through a RenPy story. Very well drawn and very funny. I wish I'd remembered I can save by right-clicking sooner.

Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments so far - we really appreciate the feedback!

@hugimugi7, we're glad you enjoyed the story! As per the game's description, it's a visual novel - extensive gameplay wasn't part of the intended experience, as visual novels are primarily narrative-based.

I enjoyed the writing and the humor a lot! The hero reminds me of the one from The Magus by John Fowles. The music change during the Angel Infernal dialogue was fire haha.

It wasn't obvious I had to click on the keyboard during the messaging phase, it would help if it was highlighted on hover and/or the mouse cursor was changed.

It was frustrating to go through the initial scene after I lost, I wish it was skippable. And I realized I can save only when I read the comments.

But aside from that, the game is among the best I played this LD. This despite the fact that I'm not really into visual novels. Thank you for making it!

Alright this was exactly my jam, no pun intended. The writing hit just right for me with its tone, and along with the fantastic audiovisual presentation, made this game one of the most memorable submissions for me this Ludum Dare. You really nailed the atmosphere for the theme.

@nick-blackwood Thank you so much for your kind words and useful feedback!! There's skipping functionality in the game (ctrl) and in-game menu on the right click, but you're absolutely right we should communicate it better to in-game without relying on knowledge of standard vn controls/hotkeys. We're planning on doing a post-jam update to add all the content we couldn't fully implement within the Ludum timeframe, and we'll be sure to include that in our list of "quality of life" adjustments!

@sweetwizzle Thank you very much - we're happy you've enjoyed yourself!
