I really liked that you get to control how much power to split, but you're forced to go all the way in a straight line. In my first game, it got me into trouble because I boxed most of my points deep into enemy territory.\n\nOne point of improvement I would give is to have some way of shaking up the status quo after the first few turns. If you can establish a nice barrier in your starting area, the outcome of the game is pretty much established in the first couple turns, but you're forced to play the rest of it out.\n\nReally nice work, and it was cool to see a game done in Bevy!\n\n(Now I want to go play Battle Sheep!)","format":"md","likes":0,"spam":"N"}],"format":"md","images":["ld55\/wayback-placeholder.png"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/github.com\/joeld42\/ldjam\/tree\/main\/ld55_summoning","text":"Link"},{"url":"https:\/\/files.jam.host\/uploads\/$389519\/ld55_summoning_jovoc.zip","text":"Link"},{"url":"https:\/\/www.tapnik.com\/ldjam\/ld55_web\/","text":"Link"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"94032","g_author":"1000748","g_event":"LD55","g_eventkey":"120","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"440616","g_title":"CyberSummoner","g_status":"WAYBACK","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"2","g_site2_node_id":"389519","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":{"n_key":"389519","n_urlkey":"440616","n_parent":"383062","n_path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/55\/cybersummoner","n_slug":"cybersummoner","n_type":"item","n_subtype":"game","n_subsubtype":"jam","n_author":"748","n_created":"1712984523","n_modified":"1778870801","n_version":"1232842","n_status":"WAYBACK"},"node":{"_collation":{"body_sanitizer":"TextUtils::SanitizeHTML via existing importer","event":"LD55","removed_author":false},"_superparent":9,"_trust":4,"author":748,"body":"Update: Web build now available!
