Godotv4.2.1-stablewin64_gaeXDkoyDk.png

In this game you play as an apprentice at a new job. A delivery person except instead of delivering the packages, you have to jump through obstacles to gather ingredients and create them through rituals!. . . then ship them off normally.

Godotv4.2.1-stablewin64_ofCYAnuOQu.png

This is the first Ludam Dare I participate in and my goal is a compo submission next time. Till then I hope you enjoy this game. All made solo, and all assets made by me using tools like Paint, ChipTone, BeepBox and Godot.

Controls: Left and Right arrow keys to move. Up or Space to Jump. Down to Interact. WASD equivalent of all also work.

PS. If you get stuck with an item on your hand before the game explains how to get rid of it, just interact with the trashcan (by pressing down near it).

Great game, a little bit hard for me (I'm not very good at this style of game), but I like it :)

Mechanically very impressive, especially solo and with your own art - you should be proud! Unfortunately I'm really bad at these types of games, so wasn't able to finish it! Some minor feedback is that the spikes should probably be more visually distinct, and making the background art move in parallax would be very cool.

Solid entry! Nice graphics, platforming is tight, I like the little song loop that's playing, gets you in a comfy mood. My only complaint would be that it gets kind of tedious after you visit all of the rooms, I'm not sure, but maybe it could help if you made all the items be placed in a single looping room, and allow player to pick up multiple at once, so player could optimize their run for items. Nevertheless, good job on finishing and polishing the game solo!

I like the style of the game, but I think the beginning is too complicated in terms of difficulty. Even then it becomes fun to play.

Hey! It's really nice solo entry. I like that game don't show all the content at start and open room with souls a bit later. Also the tutorial at start plays nice.![Снимок экрана 2024-04-16 193608.png](///raw/ad2/b3/z/63b6d.png)

I like that you have a tutorial and some lore to it. This is the type of game I see people stream online but is too hard for me to play. I'm always impressed when I see people who are really good at this type of timing/precision movement game. The level building aspect of it is impressive as well. Good job overall!

Nice little game, I like that the tutorial is integrated into the game like that. The art is really nice. Well done, a solid game especially for one person!

Nice to have the tutorial integrated in game ! I'm super bad at super meat boy but I tried to push a little bit, well done :) Maybe a prompt when something is interactible would have been nice

Nice entry! The wall sliding and jumping mechanic is smooth and snappy, and I like that you reveal new areas over time.

Very fun take, I like that you need to platform to ingredients. I got really good at that candle room. The platforming controls were very well done (definitely needed the spacebar myself). As an expansion idea it'd be need of the resource rooms changed up for an additional challenge over time.

The platforming movement feels really light and responsive. The art style is nice and cohesive. It does get repetitive however. Maybe a shop to spend items on character upgrades could introduce some complex decisions to make. Great job on your first entry!

Great game. Maybe the intro is a bit long ;) Also the jump sound is a bit annoying.

The gameplay mechanics in this game are so intuitive! It's like the controls become an extension of your own instincts. Plus, the art style adds a unique flair that keeps you engaged throughout. Definitely a gem worth exploring!

I second what most here have already said, the intro is a bit long, but otherwise it's a pretty fun hustle :) Well done

I little bit hard but its possible to get used to it, i didnt like going back to the room on the right so often ^^'

I think that the spikes should be a little bit more visible but overall the movement are smooth. Maybe a little time to wall jump without having to hold the key in wall direction would be nice. For a ludum, and alone, its really good !

I like that it has a tutorial built in! I found it very hard at the beginning, that candle room requires very precise platforming. The other rooms then were quite easy in contrast, as they had much less hazards and required far less precise platforming.
The time of five minutes is, in my opinion, quite long. I felt bored after one minute, since it is just repeat at that point, and when the grave level opened at ~3 minutes remaining it was only a short joy until it got back to repeating the rooms over and over.
The ghost that appears after delivering a sould is more annoying than an actual danger, in my opinion, since it moves so slow but sometimes surprises you at room transitions, where you can't see it.

I do like the idea of having multiple rooms, and the camera pan is quite nice. I like that you can mix colors, I sadly didn't see it used often (got to 9 packages delivered + 10th not completed).
For a bit of a change, you could have different colors spawn in different rooms; right now, if you need green it feels no different to needing yellow, you just interact with blue on the way.
Also, I realize this is likely due to the jam time limit, but more hazards would be cool, the moving platforms in the chalk room is a nice feature!

Lastly I want to say, I like the simple yet effective graphics and the cute character, and while the soundtrack is short, it adds a lot to the game! :)

I might be an idiot, but I didn't fully understand how to play this. Charming artstyle and cool movement!

It has a potential, but some mechanics are make this platformer difficult in bad meaning. The main problem is slipping. There is no reason why a character should slide except one, to make the controls "complicated". Remove sliding and character movements will be easier to control. It would also be great to somehow mark the spikes with a different color
