[raw]
made by MegzNeko for Ludum Dare 55 (JAM)

Play as an Abandoned Highschool Security Guard, wondering the halls while on duty. You’ve received a report that some kids had snuck in earlier that day and gotten up to no good. Find out what they did and put a stop to the presence they’ve summoned in the forgotten building. Track down ghost objects and destroy them before your sanity runs out and the darkness gets to your head and into your mind.

I like it.

Interact range should be longer. I thought you couldn't use the pills. With the batteries I tried until I could because that's more obvious you can take them.

Objectives should be clearer too. I thought the batteries were for the flashlight.

It's like a modern-day Pac-Man. Walking corridors, popping pills, and avoiding ghosts. It was very atmospheric. I would have liked the ghosts to be more in-game. As they are now they felt like a separate jump scare. Good stuff :8ball:

Felt unfinished, the jumpscares weren't very scary, if anything they just surprised me with a loud noise out of nowhere, with nothing actually happening

It's a little difficult to understand what exactly you need to do in the game to beat it. As a security guard, I collected all possible medicines and more than 60 batteries, found several ghosts, but what next? I thought that jump scares appeared in places where there were objects you needed, but I'm not sure that was the case, because sometimes they appeared in corridors where there was literally nothing. The room with cameras seems useless; moving objects cannot be seen in it.

It's really good! I loved the mood. I also wasn't really sure what to do. Also I felt like I was playing a child, since my character has to jump to see over counters and reach the computers. Is there something that happens when all the candles are all blown out? I thought the tutorial said that the candles being blown out meant that there weren't anymore ghosts, but when I found the summoning circle all of the candles were already out.
