Hell Spawn by Babaorhum

You are a sorcerer apprentice going through your final test, which takes place in the village's abandoned church, in order to become a master magician.
Your goal? Reach the summit of the church by summoning your familiars: your diploma awaits you there. But beware, your familiars are slightly demonic, and could turn on you at any moment, if not careful...

I think my favorite part was figuring out what each "summon" did (usually dying in the process!)
For the web version unfortunately we didn't foresee that our post processing effects (such as the volumetric fog) were not supported on this platform so we decided to not ship the web build. It would have been nice though I agree!
Overall a nice experience :)
J'ai noté des excellents graphismes et de très bons sons.
Le jeu souffre néanmoins d'un gameplay trop simpliste et trop poussé vers le "speedrun" des niveaux
The concept of carefully leading helps from demons is indeed a good point. As for the gameplay, it was fun to discover the demonic face of each familiar. The cute sounds also made it less frustrating when I got killed by them. XD
Nice work!
The art is really cute, I loved it!
There seems to be a bug at the last level where you can fall infinitely in you jump to the wall at the right where it look like you can jump on the ledge, thank god the restart button exists :D
It's an opossum actually (that's why it's that cute)
The main character is adorable and the church setting's really cool! I also very much enjoy the funny sound effects, the burning platform scream caught me off the first time I heard it lmao
I have seen a few games where you summon platforms in order to progress, but each having downsides thus requiring more careful platforming and placement gives it an interesting spin. they were used pretty effectively and satisfyingly in the levels. It would be cool to see them also being used in clever ways for solving puzzles or a little more intricate platforming challenges.
I wish there was a better way to tell where place platforms because I'd sometimes place them them too high and I was forced to restart because I couldn't reach them anymore.
Good entry!
